  • "This is a beautiful property and the location is beautiful."

    The owners are friendly and always around to provide tips on things to do. We have been here a few times now and are back in September. I love it and so does my dog Marley as there is a great secure field for him to use before going out and before bed.

  • "We enjoyed a lovely stay at Primrose Lodge."

    More spacious than we realised and very clean on arrival. The welcome pack was great too. It was easy to communicate with the owners because they sent a text message before we arrived. The site is very well maintained and we made good use of the dog exercise field. The views are lovely with sheep and lambs just opposite, plus horses and donkeys in an adjacent field. The adults, children and dog were very happy. We could easily see ourselves staying here again.

  • "We had the most wonderful weekend, the lodge had everything we could possibly need."

    It was perfect. We especially loved the doggy field as we brought our golden retriever and it was so handy to be able to take him for a run around. Also, thank you so much for our welcome goodies, they went down a treat. We will be back!

    Peaceful yet easy access to Dartmouth and amenities. Well thought out layout to whole site..very handy dog field. Extremely friendly sheep! Maybe an extra small settee , chaIr or stool so can put feet up at the end of the day. Thankyou so much for a wonderful break

  • "Our time at Primrose Lodge was very pleasant and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it."

    It is set in a lovely place with beautiful views. It is particularly good for dog owners, with an enclosed field to exercise the dogs safely. The lodge has everything needed to make the stay enjoyable. The cleanliness was exceptional and the layout of Primrose Lodge, with its 2 bathrooms was perfect for our week’s holiday. The owner Sue was very helpful when we got stuck using the EV charger and if it wasn’t so far away from where we live we would be back in a shot. Just book it you won’t be disappointed.

  • "Lovely newish lodge with stunning views and peaceful."

    Caravan side of park was not open when we visited. Everything you need is provided plus lovely welcome pack - thank you! Could do with a few homely touches such as pictures, side table, lamps etc in lounge but lodge is new. Situated close to amenities and if you take Dartmouth ferry, only short drive away from other tourist spots. Dartmouth is beautiful and will be coming back to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful stay and sunny, warm weather in September was an added bonus! Tracy, Richard & Chip

  • "We all had a really lovely time in Primrose Lodge, the views were amazing."

    It was quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed watching the sheep in the field. The flowers, scones, jam and clotted cream were a lovely addition to the start of our holiday. The lodge was a wonderful place to stay with lots to see and do in the area, our dogs had a great time exploring! Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable

Lower Norton Lodges

Lower Norton Lodges consist of four, stylish dwellings, all encompassed by breath-taking, countryside views, resting in the Devonshire village of Norton. All complete with private and enclosed decked areas, designed with alfresco dining in mind, well-equipped, open-plan living spaces, and convenient off-road parking, the collection offers a wonderful base to call home whilst touring the county, together accommodating up to sixteen guests. If you can tear yourself away from this rural haven, a hub of amenities can be found in nearby Dartmouth, including a selection of shops, eateries and pubs, with popular options including Rockfish, Bushell's Riverside, and The Royal Castle, all enjoying harbour-side views. Take advantage of your proximity to the coast by following the Southwest coastal path around to Sugary Cove Beach, where you’ll also locate the imposing structure of Dartmouth Castle, whilst outdoor enthusiasts will relish in a hike through the National Trust owned Little Dartmouth Nature Reserve. Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
