  • "Excellent in all areas, from the view out of the lounge to the cleanliness and comfort."

    Description is 100% accurate - in some cases, e.g. kitchen, it was better than expected. (Only comment for maintenance - cold tap in bathroom leaks)

  • "Great views, perfect location."

    Everything provided in the accommodation even down to handsoaps and cleaning materials. Very clean, spacious accommodation. Take note of the stairs access - although only for getting luggage up and down. I experienced no real noise issues

  • "Quayside lived up to all the previous reviews I’d read."

    Slap bang in the middle of Dartmouth with the most fabulous view. It was super clean, bright and airy. No noises from the restaurant below, but the church bells did ring occasionally. This didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommend Quayside for a Dartmouth break.

  • "Probably the best located apartment in Dartmouth!"

    Amazing views from both the front and rear of the building and perfectly located in the centre of the town. Newly fitted out, well equipped, clean and tidy. Very handy parking. Would definitely stay again!

  • "We have just spent a lovely week at Quayside, As soon as you walk into the light and airy apartment you know you 've found the right place."

    The apartment has everything you could need and more!. Was very impressed with storage and plenty of space in the bathroom ( good shower).The bed was really comfy and we slept well all week .Quayside is the ideal location for getting out and about or just people watching from the large bay window. We would definately visit again

  • "This is a wonderful property overlooking Dartmouth, the view from the window was to die for, right in the very centre of Dartmouth."

    We were in Dartmouth a year ago and saw the property listed and thought it would be ideal for a break, it lived up to that and more. We had a fabulous week in Dartmouth visiting the surrounding area from the central location. We would highly recommend this property to any lovers of Dartmouth and Devon.

  • "Quayside is a beautiful apartment."

    Lovely furnishings and absolutely spotless. Linen and towels all included and good quality. The view is spectacular and you could just spend hours sat watching the boats and trains go by from the living room window. The kitchen was really well equipped so meals could easily be made. The parking permit was very useful and we didn’t have any problems getting a space although I imagine it would be tougher in the summer holidays when Dartmouth gets busier. There are 25 stairs to get up to the flat so you do have to take a moment to catch your breath when you get to the top but the position of the flat in the middle of Dartmouth is perfect!

  • "We loved this apartment!"

    It was clean, homely and comfortable, with everything we needed for a self catering stay. The location was perfect for us too. Right in the centre of Dartmouth, there are bars and restaurants just a few minutes walk away. We would definately stay here again.

  • "After initial concerns regarding the scaffolding Jackie at Sykes Cottages dealt with my concerns in a very professional and caring manner."

    The accommodation itself is tastefully decorated, very clean and ideally situated within the town centre. No noise could be heard from Taylor’s restaurant. We will definitely return in the future.

  • "Beautiful apartment with a beautiful view."

    We loved the huge space and the little dressing room off the bedroom. The view from the large window overlooking the boatfloat is amazing both day and night. We enjoyed people watching, boat watching and train watching. The apartment is well equipt with everything you may need. Parking was easy and not far away.

  • "We loved the property and hope to return."

    It’s very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The booking instructions were clear, but I wish we had known in advance that parking in the road at the front was going to be suspended due to the regatta during our stay. The letting company kindly provided a solution, but it did cause us concerns the night we found out as I need the car nearby due to mobility problems.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
