What guests are saying
I am giving this feedback because first impressions the actual property was just as I expected.
I couldn’t fault the location and attention to detail. There was everything you would expect to see in a holiday let. The towels, bedding, good quality furnishings and enough cups, plates, tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs. what I didn’t expect was how dirty the floor was, our feet was black and I had to buy cleaning products to wash the floor, there were dirty and I mean food residue (someone had literally just put it back in the draws underneath the top plate so you couldn’t see) and cutlery was also put away dirty too, we had to put it all through the dishwasher. On the first day I also spoke in person to complain about a wasp nest outside the back bedroom window. I was told to leave the key in the key safe box. For the whole time we were there we couldn’t open the back door and back bedroom window in the heat. You can hear them in the ceiling too. My dad.has a heart condition and in this heat made him very uncomfortable at night and although there was a fan the warm air just stayed in the room. One of the letting agents came round on the Friday and she could also see and hear them in the ceiling too. Therefore I feel some sort of compensation would be nice. Kind regards Theresa
We have just enjoyed another lovely stay at Rock n Reel.
We have already booked again for next year. The location is perfect, very comfortable beds and nice bed linen. The property was lovely and clean but in some places could do with a lick of paint. Would highly recommend.
Fabulous location!
Well equipped comfortable cottage. No garden as described and slightly damp downstairs.
