The property

Resting in the ever-popular town of Dartmouth, within the picturesque South Hams AONB in South Devon, is The Nest, a delightful third-floor apartment within a stones throw of the River Dart and just moments from the bustling high street.

The apartment has been wonderfully presented and serves as a great base for couples seeking an unforgettable pursuit to Devon.

After a day of sightseeing, look forward to relaxing on the comfortable sofa and flicking through the TV channels, reflecting upon the day’s activities with thoughts of where to head next.

A large dormer window provides picturesque views across the river to Kingswear and towards Dartmouth Castle, tempting your exploration further.

Cross over to the quaint yet well-equipped kitchen and really make the most of the space, offering an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and even a washing machine, so you won’t have to pack all your clothes.

A romantic dinner can be enjoyed at the dining table or book a restaurant within the town; there’s plenty to choose from.

Finishing off the interior of this charming apartment is an inviting double bedroom served by a gleaming shower room, finished with bath and shower over so you can pick how best to start the day.

When you’re ready to explore, meander the narrow streets lined with boutique shops and art galleries before making your way down to the waterfront where you can watch the boats bob with tide, and even hire your own boat if you wish to take to the water yourself.

The town hosts a number of festivals throughout the year including the Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October, providing something for everyone!

Venture along the South West Coast Path and immerse yourself in scenic splendour or pop off your walking boots and sink your toes into the golden sands of Sugary Cove Beach, providing you with a moment of true relaxation.

Hop on board the Dartmouth Steam Railway towards Paignton, encompassing unspoilt Devonshire countryside along the way, and pay a visit to Paignton Zoo, home to over 2000 animals and 300 species.
