  • "The apartment is very modern, well fitted out, clean and comfortable."

Due to Covid perhaps, we didnt find any pamphletts, booklets or instructions. Such things as how to turn the towel rails on so that they warmed, dried towels etc. The basic cooking facilities, Microwave, kettle, fridge and toaster were but barely adequate but having said that the apartment was warm and comfortable, and all fitments cutlery, crockery, furniture and bedding etc were of good quality. In view of the basic cooking it would have been nice to have had some recommendations re local restaurants that were in walking distance, or takeways who could deliver etc etc. This would certainly offset the limited cooking facilities.

  • "St Julien is a beautiful apartment with spectacular views of the ocean."

All furnishings and facilities are of a very high and comfortable standard. It is very conveniently located for the town of Dawlish and the railway station. It was a treat to be able to leave the car at the apartment every day whilst we explored the many places of interest by utilisiing the rail service. We had the pleasure of meeting our host, Maggie, who had done everything possible to ensure that our holiday was perfect. Thank you Maggie...it was. We hope to stay at St Julien again one day.

The view (overlooking the sea) to wake up to every morning was priceless. The owner Maggie was always (via text) on hand if we needed anything, or a suggestion of good place to eat/drink.

Julien. Beautiful apartment with amazing sea views. Only negatives were settee rather uncomfortable - probably more to do with cushions etc being removed due to Covid - and tv needs to be updated to provide more choice of viewing. Overall a lovely relaxing break and Covid hygiene excellent .
