  • "Property was really great paid more for less at other sites over the Years."

only downside was the space for the toilet not for us larger people. Also having to wait till 4 to get into the property due to the cleaner not arriving until 3. Would definitely recommend it if you dont a bit of a squeeze when you need the loo.

  • "We had a lovely holiday (apart from the weather) The apartment had all the mod cons but they were quite technical even with the hand books they were difficult to work out but google helped."

it was lovely to have a washing machine the only two things I would like to have seen was a wall clock in the living area and a decent dustpan and brush both inexpensive. Also maybe some leaflets of things to see and do. It was a lovely touch to have milk and biscuits and other bits left for us and cleaning stuff although we did bring our own. The apartment was bright and airy the balcony was a nice extra. The apartment is very central to all the amenities train bus beach amusement arcade fair rides food outlets. It’s a really lovely walk along the sea wall to Dawlish about 40 mins waving to the many trains that pass ! We loved seeing the black swans and other birds in the stream.we used the trains a few times to visit teignmouth Torquay and Paignton we went to the zoo when you get off the train you need a 22 bus to take you to the zoo. the only real problem we had was the parking we couldn’t have our allocated space so was told to park in another space then had an irate lady leave a note and came to find us to complain we still couldn’t have our space so had to use another wrong one

  • "Had a lovely stay at Sunny View."

The property is very tastefully decorated, with all mod cons, the bed very comfortable, brilliant large TV, great views from the balcony. A bonus we didn't expect was the closeness to a railway station which meant we parked the car for a week and took the train everywhere. The only small point being picky: a welcome guide left out would be nice with essential info such as WiFi code and how to use eg induction hob.

About the location

DAWLISH WARREN

Dartmoor 13 miles; Exeter 11 miles; Teignmouth 5 miles; Dawlish 2 miles.

A couple of miles north east of the town of Dawlish is Dawlish Warren, a mile-long sand beach at the mouth of the River Exe on the stretch of south Devon coastline known as the English Riviera. Dawlish Warren has a selection of shops selling essentials, a golf course and a 55-acre nature reserve, an area of international importance for wildlife, and a roosting site for huge numbers of wading birds and wildfowl that winter on the estuary. The Nature Reserve is also home to more than 450 species of flowering plants including the rare Warren or Sand Crocus. Guided tours around the Reserve are available in the summer season. The beach at Dawlish Warren is a sandy Blue Flag beach backed by sand dunes and small lakes and stretches for miles to reach the Exe Estuary in one direction and Dawlish town in the other. A safe beach, lifeguarded in summer, provides a perfect place for seaside fun, and has many free, open-air events, children's entertainers and spectacular firework and air displays during the summer season. Dawlish Warren has a railway station on the Exeter to Newton Abbot line, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the country. Nearby there is much to occupy the visitor along the English Riviera coastline including Paignton Zoo, the Dartmouth Steam Railway, the picturesque fishing harbour of Brixham and the long pier and promenade at Teignmouth. A typically English seaside resort, great for family holidays at any time of year.
