Kenny Cottage

The address needs a kenny cottage’s sign on the wall as you come up brook street.

The sign is on the wrong side of side. I don’t know if the owner can do that. Or the owner of that cottage’s maybe doesn’t want that sign. You have to look for 38 house and 42 house numbers and you find the cottage I between. Very nice couple. We got on well with them. Just needed the hot water fixing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here and cannot recommend it highly enough!

I stayed with my dad and his dog, and the accommodation was incredibly welcoming and pet-friendly. The highlight of our trip was definitely the amazing sea views and being so close to the water. The property itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a stress-free holiday. It is in a perfect location—peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short walk away from the town centre and the local beaches. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

A really good location for walking in and around Dawlish, bonus is that we could park our car next to the property.

The cottage is in a great location a short walk to the beach along a shop and cafe lined street.

There’s a pub round the corner and a corner shop. There’s cottage is comfortable. It lacked an information folder for house appliances most of which are easy to use. The microwave didn’t heat up and the central heating didn’t work for the first 24 hours. I phoned and a pleasant man came to fix it. The pressure had dropped despite the boiler being new. There is no yard to sit in but there is a bench outside the front door. The front door was very hard to lock from inside so I used the back door during my stay. I enjoyed staying at Kenny’s and would recommend it .

.beds are so cumfy, very clean and every thing is there to use, even washing up liquid and laundry facilities. Lovely hot shower, soft fluffy towels, The cottage is a good size and is warm n toasty. (Refuge bin day is Wednesday so we found that was the only loud noise we heard the sound of wheelie bins being pulled past the side of the cottage.) Definately going to go back. The cottage is in close proximeter of Dawlish town centre about a 10 min walk from train station and bus stops and beaches, lovely walk along Dawlish brook and lawns a well stocked corner shop with friendly staff, Plenty of places to eat or grab a coffee.. If Your lucky You might even get to see the Dolphins come close by (three pods spotted 21/10/25) I would highly recommend 'Kenny Cottage'.

The property is pretty basic, so fine if your on a walking holiday, or a short let holiday as a base.

Great place to stay as very close to shops and places to eat and only 10 min walk from railway station.

The house was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen and two large bedrooms. There were a couple of negatives in that the double bed was described as being a large double in fact we found the bed quite small and sometimes one of us would sleep in one of the single beds. There was also no wardrobe or hanging rail in the double bedroom. Also no hooks or towel rail in bathroom to dry towels. Overall we had a relaxing holiday and would recommend Kenny Cottage as a good place to stay

We had a great few days at this lovely property.

Everything was very clean. Well equipped kitchen with some nice touches. However, my grandson of 13 would like to mention that his bed was very uncomfortable, we had to double up a duvet for him to lie on so he could not feel the springs. The other single bed that I slept in was very comfortable. When we were unable to use the washing machine the owners were prompt to attend to help even though they were unable to rectify. There is a launderette around the corner so all was well. I would definitely stay again. Thank you

Great place to stay 10 mins walk train station beach nice house good for trips to teighnmouth torquay and loads more would recomend
