"Lovely clean compact and well equipped cottage in a beautiful village."
For us as older visitors we found the beds to be too small and low and the shower difficult to access due to the size of the bathroom and its layout ! However for most visitors this would maybe not be a problem! We really enjoyed our visit though to November cottage and would recommend.

"We had a lovely relaxing week at November Cottage made all the more brilliant by amazing weather!"
The cottage is well appointed with comfortable furnishings. The village location is peaceful and the surrounding area is great for walks. We took the foot ferry from Dittisham to Greenway, and Dartmouth was only a short boat trip or drive away. This was a perfect choice for a couple and dogs in half term week - no hustle and bustle, but with easy access to local attractions.

"We had a very enjoyable week staying at November Cottage."
Lots of walks around the village, down to the estuary and the FBI. Plenty to visit in the locality. The cottage itself was cosy and had what was needed. It does need a little bit of TLC as some elements a little shabby (fabrics on sofa/dining chairs). That said, it is a lovely property in a great location and we would definitely recommend. We did enjoy ourselves.

"Bright, welcoming cottage."
A little tired in places. Draft coming through large gap in back bedroom window when closed. Nice location within village. Easy access to ‘The Ham’ overlooking the river. Future guests might find useful to know: Road into the village becomes a single track with passing places and a very steep hill (20% gradient). There is no stair gate to prevent dogs running upstairs. The guest handbook advises hot water is only heated up twice a day. Wish we’d read this as we got caught out and not everyone had a hot shower!

It suits us in so many ways. When we first visited this property everything was bright and clean. Unfortunately now it does need some TLC.

"November Cottage is set in an idyllic cul-de-sac with named parking space, just above the cottage."
It’s a lovely community and will miss my walks around this ‘Miss Marple’ village. Fantastic that you can get the ferry to Dartmouth or Greenway and very friendly Ferry Boat Inn.
The cottage is fitted to high spec, having cream interior there are a few marks on carpets but otherwise thoroughly clean and has everything required for a comfortable stay. The garden is just big enough as pictures and offers no more but there are 4 communal grassed areas you can sit or walk dogs etc.
There is a very narrow steep lane to get into Dittisham but after the initial shock, you soon get used to driving in and out. No welcome pack but certainly tea bags available. The village shop only opens in the mornings but short drive to Sainsburys/Lidl.
We did have an unavoidable issue with a leak but the office soon sorted this out.
Enjoyable stay with 2 dogs, would recommend.

"Very clean and comfortable, this great little cottage is a perfect base for exploring the area."
Close to Dartmouth and Bigbury on Sea (Burgh Island) is just a short drive away, Greenway is a short trip over the river and the Ferry Boat Inn down on the quay is the perfect place to spend an afternoon
We had a great week

"We had a lovely week at November Cottage."
It's clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.
Dittisham is a pretty village with little lanes to explore. Pizzas at the Ferry Boat Inn are well worth trying! Lots of shorter walks in the area and it's a beautiful walk to Dartmouth (little ferry to Greenway to set off)

"We loved the lay out and position of the cottage it ticked all our boxes."
But on the down side it was in desperate need of a good vacuum. Even though I have dogs my self I would never leave dogs hairs to the same extent . I had to vacuum the cottage thoroughly . Also smelt strongly of dogs .
Well equipped with cutlery etc apart from the fact that there was only one wine glass Also would have been useful if there had been a guide to recycling policy so just had to use guess work .
Lovely little court yard which was ideal but needed the plants maintained as they were taking over and the space was really over grown .
But certainly a gem for the location

"We have stayed in November Cottage many times."
We love its location as it is so quiet. The cottage suits the two of us because it is simply furnished and generally clean. I have said before however that it is a pity dogs are allowed. The carpet is marked with footprints and there was a lot of hair which hadn’t been cleaned away on our last visit.

"Really nicely appointed cottage, and we liked how a manual full of instructions wasn't thrust upon us, and we were left to enjoy a lovely break!"
Very comfortable and clean cottage, in a wonderful setting. The car parking space made it especially convenient. Top tip: if you plan do use the hoover at all, do make sure it's charged up. We intended to tidy up before we left, but the modern hoover needs to charge, we didn't realise. Thanks very much for a lovely stay.

"We enjoyed our week at the cottage."
Possibly because no one had stayed there for a few weeks(?), we had a bit of an issue with flies when we arrived. There was no towel provided for the downstairs loo. A pint of milk and some washing up liquid would have been nice. The dining table is really, really unsteady!
Very comfortable sofa and beds, lovely towels and well equipped for what we needed.

"The cottage was very comfortable and beautifully fitted and furnished."
We especially liked the bathroom shower.
As the description talks about having tea as soon as you arrive, it would have been nice to have some fresh milk left or a few small UHT pots.
The downstairs cloakroom smelt quite strongly of dog wee I’m afraid. The beds were good but a little in the hard side. The second double bed was hard to get in/out of. If you change it ever then perhaps / singles might work better.
I was a little afraid of the cream carpet/furniture but with extra care nothing was marked by us.
Dittisham was lovely.
Thank you
