  • "We had a lovely stay at meadow retreat."

    The accommodation was lovely, clean and had pretty much everything you needed in it. A whisk would have been good . The only thing we felt was when using the hot tub we felt a little open to the neighbours. Every time we got in the hot tub in the evening the person in the accommodation next door would always come out to so we felt uncomfortable as though we were being watched. Perhaps a screen of some sort would have helped . But other than that we really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.

  • "The lodge was lovely."

    Very comfortable from start to the end of our holiday. Well maintained, hot tub checked evey day. Very nice setting and friendly staff. The only downside it would be good to have a pub/restaurant on site, nothing really to walk too ( went to the Highway Man once, dreadful left after 10 minutes).

  • "I received a phone call from a lovely lady to let me know our lodge was ready early at about 1pm, she was really friendly and made us feel really welcome and excited to check in."

    When we walked into our lodge we were completely stunned and blown away, it was brand new and everything was so modern and immaculate. The lodge was kitted out well and the hot tub was amazing. We got a little welcome box with washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea bags, coffee, sugar and lotus biscuits which was a nice touch. The only feedback we’d give was to maybe add some salt & pepper sachets to the welcome box or add it as a reminder to the list of what we need to bring as we completely forgot this when we went grocery shopping on the way to lodge. We will definitely come back to this specific lodge and can’t wait to rebook.

6 Meadow Reatreat is a welcoming single-storey lodge in Dobwalls, Cornwall.

This abode is suitable for families or friends seeking a countryside escape to Cornwall, boasting a bubbling hot tub on the enclosed decking, and plenty of nearby amenities.

Open the door to your new abode, the open-plan living space is bright, airy and inviting, with high vaulted ceilings and stylish furnishings.

The kitchen is equipped with the necessities to make yourself feel at home.

Serve your favourites straight from the hob to enjoy at the breakfast bar or enjoy a wholesome family meal at the dining area set for four.

Once dinner is over, head to the sitting room where you can unwind in front of the TV, enjoying the warmth from the electric fire.

When the day draws to the close there are two bedrooms to choose from, a neat twin or a double with an en-suite shower room and a TV.

If you fancy a soak, there is a bathroom for you to soak your muscles after your outdoor adventures.

Crack open the patio doors to the enclosed decking area, here you can enjoy a meal, a morning brew or enjoy the warming bubbles of the hot tub.

DOBWALLS

Liskeard 2.6 miles; Looe 8.4 miles.

The rural village of Dobwalls is surrounded by open fields and wooded countryside, and is close to the market town of Liskeard, the slopes of Bodmin Moor and the glorious north and south Cornish coastlines. This is a perfect base for exploring the many delights the region has to offer, with the picturesque fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey and Polperro within 15 miles to the south whilst Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath lie a comfortable drive away on the North Coast. Take a trip to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the wonderful sailing, fishing and watersports on offer, or travel a little further and take advantage of the superb walking on Bodmin Moor. The Eden project lies within 15 miles and Plymouth is just a 30 minute drive, or 25 minute train ride from nearby Liskeard station. With the Barbican harbour district, renowned aquarium, and good selection of shops, restaurants and theatres, this is a great holiday base.
