  • "Tranquil heavenly country retreat."

    If you're looking for a place to recharge and relax this is it. Immaculate cottage crisp white bedding and if required cosy log burner. Hosts were very welcoming and the complimentary cream tea on arrival was a real treat. Will definitely be back.

    Exactly as listed. It is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing vacation at any time of year. We have three dogs and the environment is very doggy friendly. We love The Bull Pen!

Situated in East Devon, Colyton is a small town with its roots dating back to 700AD. Situated three miles from Seaton and six miles from Axmouth, Colyton has many links to its past with numerous historical buildings, such as St Andrew’s Church, and its winding lanes with independent shops. Good food and a warm welcome are on offer at the many inns. Colyton's tram station will provide you with an enjoyable ride alongside the River Axe to Seaton. The picturesque villages of Colyford, Southleigh, Northleigh and Farway lie nestled in the heart of the Coly Valley and are always a good day out.
