"Lovely and quiet."
We were a group of eight aged 55-70
Access to the tennis court was a real bonus and it’s a great surface to play on in all weathers.
The Spa was an added bonus too.
We had to drive to get anywhere but it was well worth it.
We ate in the hotel one night and the food was great. Highly recommend a visit to Brixham Rockfish restaurant but use the park and ride 3 miles out of Brixham as parking in the town is limited.
The Round robin trip and steam train experience was great.
Also must recommend the Pig and Whistle pub the food was 10 out of 10 and excellent value.
Overall a lovely place to stay with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

"We had a fantastic family holiday in this beautiful cottage."
Everything was exactly as described. The cottage was perfect for the 8 of us staying there. The cottage was well equipped & had everything we needed. It was great to be able to use the hotel pool & gym and spa facilities too. The lounge has gorgeous views & was perfect on a summers evening with the doors fully opened onto the garden which was lovely too. Would definitely recommend staying here.

"This holiday home was amazing."
It was so clean and fresh smelling as we entered. It had everything you could ask for in the kitchen from pots and pans, cooking pots, trays as well as all the cleaning products avaliable. The appliances were of an excellent standard and a separate drinks fridge was a bonus. The property is spacious and the beds were really comfy. Being able to use the swimming facilities and gym in the hotel across the car park was great. Under 16s were limited to 8.30 to 10am and 5pm to 6.30pm though. It is situated in lovely grounds and easy to get to various places easily. If going into Dartmouth I would recommend the park and ride as the parking is limited. Very cheap. £5 for a car load. There is nothing I can say negative about this property. Perfect for a family holiday.

"We had a lovely time at Courtyard Cottage."
The cottage was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It’s also well located for Dartmouth, Blackpool Sands and various other attractions (Paignton Zoo isn’t far) and the supermarket is close. The tennis court was never busy and the golf course very much appreciated by the golfers among us. I would recommend Courtyard Cottage as a great base from which to explore.

"The cottage exceeded our expectations, facilities provided were excellent and of good quality."
The only issue we had was with the beds, except the twin beds, which were very low and uncomfortable. I realise that not everyone would feel the same and that this is a personal issue. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and were we to come back to the area we would undoubtedly stay here again.

"House was fantastic."
Luxury, perfect location, spacious and great facilities. It had all the amenities You’d need set in a wonderful location. Lovely views from lounge over Dartmouth golf course. Resort was quiet and clubhouse convenient for late eve drinks. Small pool in club was ideal for kids and adults enjoyed the golf. Their gym was small but had all equipment you’d need. We ate in clubhouse once on the evening we arrived and food/ service was good. The location of the house in convenient for Dartmouth, Totnes and all surrounding areas. We had be issue with hot water on arrival, but after a quick phone call it was sorted within the hour. Very impressed! You won’t regret booking this house. We were a large family group of 7, ranging in age 17 to 84 and there was something for everyone!

"This is a fabulous house and the second time that we’ve stayed here."
Lovely quality bed linens and great kitchen equipment for making full dinners etc. Very clean and fresh throughout with well thought out decor and a family sized tv and sound system. Only things to note are - label the freezer switch. We accidentally switched it off as thought it was a light switch and everything defrosted over night. Also, the combo washer/dryer is good for washing but doesn’t dry well.
A great family holiday home with plenty of space and in a perfect setting and location to explore. Very close to Dartmouth and lots of beautiful sightseeing.

"The property was beautiful and as good as the pictures."
Very comfortable and perfect for a group of 7 adults.
Very well equipped, only items that would be useful would be oven gloves and a large/small casserole dish - other than that found everything we needed for a perfect stay.
The use of facilities and restaurant in the adjacent hotel were the factors that swayed us towards this particular property - and we weren't disappointed.
The only reason I have not marked the booking experience as "exceeding expectations" was the difficulty in printing directions / invoices etc because there were no printer friendly versions online.

"This is a completely wonderful property."
We stay in a lot of rental properties every year and sadly we are frequently disappointed but this property is fantastic and exceeded our expectations in almost every respect. It was spotlessly clean, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and everything worked.
We had a fantastic week here. I am sure we will be back to stay again. One of the best properties I have ever stayed in.

"We had a fabulous stay recently in Courtyard cottage."
The cottage has lovely views and was very spacious, clean and had plenty of room for all the family. It was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Sky TV, lots of games, books and videos (even a playstation !). The drinks cooler was very useful and there is a BBQ with coals ready to use and logs for the wood burner. There is a tennis court close to the cottage which we really enjoyed and the facilities of the Best Western hotel are also available to use (really useful, we had a swim in the pool, used the spa and gym and had excellent food in the restaurant as well, Sunday lunch is really good). The general location is excellent, close to Dartmouth (use the park and ride it works really well) and loads of other activities and days out are near by. All in all probably the nicest place we have stayed in and we will return.

"Six of us spent the May Bank Holiday weekend at Courtyard Cottage and had a fantastic time."
Courtyard Cottage is part of a small "hamlet" of holiday cottages located next to the Dartmouth Hotel, Golf Club & Spa. It is beautifully decorated and equipped and as the main living room is on the the upper floor, there are wonderful views out of the Devonshire countryside. Particularly welcome was the wine fridge and the satellite TV with Sky Sports!!. The whole cottage felt spacious throughout with plenty of room for us all to sit and chat.
After a very comfortable nights sleep, the lads had a round of golf on the adjacent golf course, whilst the ladies took advantage of the spa at the the hotel. The golf course is one of the nicest I have played with a challenging but fair design and more of those beautiful Devonshire views. The ladies were equally complimentary about the spa treatments.
There are many places to visit nearby. We spent a day in Dartmouth and could have spent two. There are also many place to eat, catering for all tastes and budgets. I can especially recommend "Rock Fish" - fish and chips with a twist!
All in all we had a wonderful 4 nights at Courtyard Cottage and have no hesitation in giving 5 stars

"We stayed in the Courtyard Cottage at the Best Western Golf Resort, Dartmouth."
The pictures looked nice before we arrived but seeing it in the flesh was really impressive. The cottage is beautifully furnished. A truly lovely place to stay. Not only was it wonderfully decorated, the little extras available made a real difference. A big BBQ with loads of charcoal ready to use, loads of wood for the log burner (although it was too hot to put the fire on), even tennis rackets and balls to use on the tennis court. Just a short walk to the nice spa in the country club with pool, sauna, Jacuzzi. The restaurant in the hotel is good too. I thought it was going to be nice but it surpassed my expectations.
