"The house was lovely and spacious, and the swimming pool and hot tub were a great hit with everyone."
Everything was in a good walking distance as well. Only one slight issue was one of
the showers broke early on in our stay and didn’t get sorted until the second to last
day of our stay, which was just a little frustrating. Aside from that we had an amazing 10 days and would happily stay here again.
Thank you so much for your feedback & I’m so sorry to hear the shower wasn’t fixed quickly enough. The part required had to be ordered in and, therefore, we had an unfortunate wait. Thanks so much for your patience and understanding and apologise for the inconvenience caused.

"This was the perfect place for what we needed with 3 children under 5."
The pool was great, facilities comfortable. There was a small repair that was attended to promptly. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. Thank you

Also very close and easy to walk down into the shopping area and harbour. We also drove to other places along the coast which was nice.

"We had a fantastic holiday at Delmonte Lodge."
The house is spacious, in a great location, and has stunning views over Torquay Harbour. We especially loved the swimming pool, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect for a relaxing family break, and we're already looking forward to booking again next year!

"My large family had a wonderful stay."
Brilliant swimming pool and hot tub.
Comfy beds every thing you need.

"A spacious home in the centre of Torquay."
It is great for large groups and the pool and hot tub is an added bonus. It was slightly grubby, it feels like a deep clean is needed with cobwebs and bugs when we arrived.

"Beautiful holiday cottage very spacious , has a well equipped kitchen everything you need , the pool and hot tub was lovely and water was warm , perfect placed for Torquay and surrounding areas , lovely beaches , beautiful historic village at cockington and greenway Estate , holiday home of Agatha christie is not to be missed make sure you walk down to the boathouse views are stunning."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the property ticked all of our wishes."
The pool is a delight in all weather. Extra towels a bonus. Facilities great, albeit the ice machine not working and showers not very hot or powerful. Great new cushions for outside, very comfy. Would definitely recommend. You do have to walk through the town to get to much happier and calm places. Harbour area lovely and would recommend Rockfish for fish lovers.

"Michael was our contact and was always available on the phone for any questions we had."
The villa was lovely, clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool which were both well maintained. The kitchen was of a good size and well equipped. The large sofa was big enough for us all to sit on (7 people).

"Everything was superb only thing I can comment on that should have been shared on the description of the property is that there is only an on suite bathroom upstairs and for others in other rooms on the same floor they had to go all the way downstairs if they needed to use the bathroom in the night as entering the onsuite bathroom would bother the person sleeping at night."
This should be shared and made clearer on property details. Other than that all was great

"Great property and a great location."
There is everything there you needed. Only improvements would be the bushes by the pool were blocking the view which was a pity. The coutside cushions could do with cleaning and better sun beds. Other than that it was great and we would go back.

We have since had a garden clearance with a small gap between guests & the view to the harbour is fully restored. In addition, we’ve upgraded the cushions and pallet seating & invested in wooden sun loungers & cushions.

"We had the pleasure of staying in Delmonte Lodge Torquay in May 25 and had a lovely experience at this beautifully decorated home."
The property was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub—perfect for unwinding!
The house was fully equipped, making it easy to settle in right away. Unfortunately, my husband had to be taken to hospital during our stay, but our host, Michael, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to support us during a difficult time, showing such kindness and genuine care.
Thank you so much for your feedback. We’re so pleased to hear the lodge had all you needed, but also glad we were able to flex and help when needed. We do hope your husband is now fully recovered. Take care & we hope to accommodate you again in the future.
