A small rural village in rural Devon, surrounded by beautiful farmland, in the area known as Ruby Country (so named after the local Ruby Red Devon cattle). There are numerous trails for walkers and cyclists amongst Devon's unspoilt countryside. Nearby is the ancient small market town of Hatherleigh, just 7 miles from the edge of Dartmoor National Park and the Tarka Trail for walkers and cyclists can be accessed here.
