“Good quiet location for a family holiday of very mixed ages.”

    Lovely beaches around.

Lovely beaches around. The lanes sat nav tells you to follow are not for the feint hearted ! Much easier journey to follow A roads to Kingsbridge.

The property

Cowslip Cottage is a delightful barn conversion on the outskirts of Frogmore, a pretty village with a picturesque creek and fantastic bakery.

Situated only eight miles from Salcombe and within easy reach of the Start Bay coastline (just a 10-minute drive away), this is a fantastic base for a holiday.

Nestled in a peaceful, rural location, surrounded by countryside, this barn conversion has an open-plan kitchen/sitting/dining area with bi-fold doors out to the rear terrace.

The country kitchen is very well equipped with a classic range cooker.

There is also an oak dining table with seating for six, whilst the sitting area has a large leather sofa.

There are three bedrooms in total: on the first floor is a King-size double, and a twin room.

The spacious master is located on the second floor and has a super King-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle.

In addition to the master en suite bathroom is a family bathroom on the first floor with bath and shower cubicle.

Outside the barn is an attractive garden for children to explore, whilst at the rear is a paved terrace with outdoor furniture to enjoy some al fresco dining in the summer sunshine.

There is allocated parking for one car, however additional visitors’ spaces are usually available.

About the location

Kingsbridge 4.1 miles; Salcombe 9.1 miles

The picturesque village of Frogmore, located at the head of Frogmore Creek, is surrounded by stunning countryside and is just three miles from the pretty market town of Kingsbridge and a 10-minute drive from Slapton Sands, which makes it a fantastic holiday destination for those looking for a tranquil spot that’s in easy reach of a range of attractions. Walking from Frogmore to West Charleton along the water’s edge is a great way to see the creek before turning inland and heading north through West Charleton. This pretty village is well-known for its excellent bakery, traditional pub, beautiful creek and perhaps most of all, it’s family-focused annual regatta in August.
