The property

Mayflower View is a bright and welcoming ground-floor apartment perched above Dawlish, Devon.

Ideal for couples in search of a coastal escape, this thoughtfully arranged retreat offers nearby roadside parking, distant glimpses of the sea from the garden, and a location that places you within easy reach of the town’s charm and natural beauty.

Step through the door and into a light-filled sitting room, where two inviting sofas beckon you to sink in and unwind beside the gentle glow of the electric fire.

Whether you're flipping through a book, sharing a board game, or simply enjoying a quiet evening with the TV softly playing in the background, this space is made for slowing down.

Beyond the sitting room, doors open onto a sunny, south-facing garden, complete with a patio area ideal for alfresco dining or simply soaking up the sea breeze and distant coastal views.

Back indoors, the kitchen/diner is equipped for every culinary moment.

Chop, stir, and sizzle your way through breakfast or dinner, with everything you need close at hand and a table set for four.

When the day winds down, retreat to one of two peaceful bedrooms.

Choose the double for a restful night or the twin for flexible comfort—each with generous storage so you can unpack, settle in, and feel completely at ease.

The shower room offers a refreshing end to your day—step into the walk-in shower and let the warm water wash away the salt and sunshine.

When you're ready to explore, Dawlish and its surroundings offer a rich tapestry of experiences.

Stroll along the town’s famous railway line, where trains hug the dramatic coastline and waves crash just metres away.

Wander the manicured lawns of Dawlish Lawn, home to the town’s iconic black swans, and pause for an ice cream beside the babbling brook.

Venture further afield to Babbacombe Model Village, where intricate miniature scenes and lush gardens invite hours of discovery.

Step into the depths of time at Kents Cavern, where prehistoric chambers echo with stories of ancient humans.

For classic seaside fun, head to Teignmouth Grand Pier—arcades flashing, gulls wheeling overhead, and the scent of salt and vinegar in the air.

Try your luck with a line off the pier, or simply watch the sun dip below the horizon.

However you choose to spend your days, Mayflower View offers a peaceful and well-placed haven to return to—where every moment feels just a little more special by the sea.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
