"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the bungalow."
It offers plenty of space, is very well equipped, and we especially appreciated the kitchen and the comfortable beds. The service was excellent, and the entire property was beautifully maintained. Having a parking space almost directly in front of the bungalow was also very convenient. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and were extremely satisfied overall.

"My wife is in a wheelchair - we found the bungalow just perfect in terms of moving around the property & facilities."
Excellent!

"We booked into a disabled bungalow and although it is equipped for the disabled ..."
We booked into a disabled bungalow and although it is equipped for the disabled we the wet room was not so good the shower was broken and was unable to move it and was too high the water flooded the shower room as the shower curtain was too high, the facilities were poor as the coffee shop was only open few a few hrs due to staff shortages there was a restaurant on site but we were not allowed to use it, getting to the site was not good as it was a single track road which could cause problems with traffic coming the other way, the view off the area were really good good for walks if you are not disabled and good dog walks

"Really enjoyed our week in number 7."
Great experience all round. Thank you.

"Had everything you need, very clean, nice and quiet, liked recycling bins inside, enjoyable stay."
Plenty of room, highly recommended.

"The location is superb."
Whilst the bungalow was comfortable overall, we felt that there were a few things that need paying attention to. Despite the bungalow having been cleaned, we did end up vacuuming ourselves & asking for a suitable kitchen spray to clean up obvious spillage that had been missed. This wasn't a problem, just disappointing. The bungalow we stayed in is clearly in need of some maintenance. The toilet flush is very delicate & temperamental to say the least - we were glad that it did actually last the week! The cutlery drainer on the sink is rusty, the oven trays were mostly unusable, the carpet throughout is in need of either replacing or cleaning & the algae on the outside of the property does not add any appeal. We appreciate that we visited out of season, however it does not prevent us from noticing these things.

"Very clean and well presented and equiped internally and bungalow appeared to have been recently refurbished."
Outside showing signs of needing cleaning/repainting but no serious complaints. Minor problems include lack of any hooks to hang anything in both the shower room and the bathroom and a malfunctioning toaster but these were not major issues. Heating was not working correctly on arrival as several radiators including those in both toilet and bathroom were cold and unable to adjust , but these were promptly seen to and rectified when reported on the Monday morning following our arrival. Overall very satisfactory accommodation.

"We have stayed at Harcombe many times in the past but this is our first stay for many years now that dogs are allowed."
This is a welcome step for our family and means we can revisit and can continue to support the FFC. The accommodation is simple but clean, beds are comfortable and you have everything you need. The site offers plenty to keep adults and children occupied. Really recommend this location and we will return.

"Really lovely site with lots to do in the area."
-
"The cleanliness and general condition was excellent."
However, there were a few problems which would make me think twice about visiting again, which is a shame, since the location and general facilities are very good. Your website listing stated two toilets, but I was contacted after booking to say there was only one. For potentially six adults, this was inconvenient. The one twin room contained a bed with drop sides, which would be great for a disabled person, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Also for the first 5 days of our holiday there was no internet. If we’d known the internet was patchy, in advance, we would have downloaded books to read etc prior to arrival.

"Really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing and peaceful."
We did a two of the walks, blue and brown, although there had been a couple of weeks of dry weather some of the parts of the walk were a bit muddy so wear appropriate footwear

"The property was advertised with a cloakroom with loo and sink."
This did not exist. One of the reasons for booking was that there were two loos and as there were 6 of us, only having one was not suitable. The website needs updating to accurately reflect the facilities. There weren’t any bins in the wet room and shower room and a shelf in the wet room would have been useful, especially for people like myself with mobility issues. Apart from that , everything else was fine. Lovely location and great facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

"The bungalow was exactly what we expected."
It is in a peaceful and picturesque setting, providing a great nights sleep. The furniture is modern and comfortable and the decor neutral. Having an indoor pool on site was great and booking in to use it was straight forward. The pool itself was clean and well maintained as well as nice and warm. The whole site is extremely well looked after and super clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. It was a great base for getting further afield and I would highly recommend staying here.
