  • "We just returned from the most magical time at Hazelwood 3, and we honestly couldn't be happier."

    This was our first time away since having our second baby, so we were hoping for a smooth trip, but this stay completely exceeded all our expectations. Everyone had an absolutely fantastic time. The cottage itself is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and felt incredibly safe and secure for our young family. It was clear that absolutely everything had been considered to make our stay comfortable. The host was so thoughtful, leaving a wonderful welcome package with biscuits, apple juice, and coffee upon our arrival. Even the supplied kitchen utensils were perfectly suited for parents traveling with young children, which made our daily routine so much easier. The location is absolutely stunning, and the park facilities were great for keeping us all entertained. We are so amazed by the whole experience and the level of care put into this accommodation. We had the best time and will definitely be returning specifically to Hazelwood 3. Highly recommend!

The property

Hazelwood 3 is a stylish and well‑presented holiday home on Pinewood Retreat, ideally located between Lyme Regis and Seaton.

With three bedrooms, two allocated parking spaces and a generous wrap‑around terrace, it offers comfortable accommodation in a relaxed coastal setting. Inside, the open‑plan living space is bright and welcoming, with a well‑equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, washer‑dryer and fridge freezer, making longer stays easy and convenient.

The sitting area is arranged for comfort with a large TV for relaxed evenings, while the dining table and chairs provide a sociable space for shared meals. There are three thoughtfully arranged bedrooms, comprising a double bedroom with en‑suite shower room, a second double and a twin bedroom, all served by a modern family bathroom.

Outside, the terrace wraps around the front and side of the property, with a south‑facing seating area that’s ideal for enjoying sunny days and peaceful evenings. Guests staying at Hazelwood 3 can enjoy Pinewood Retreat’s excellent on‑site facilities, including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

The heated indoor pool is perfect year‑round, while the outdoor pool and spacious sun terrace are a real highlight in warmer months.

An adventure play area for children, along with easy access to local shops and amenities, makes this a relaxed and family‑friendly setting. Pinewood Retreat’s location is ideal for exploring the very best of Devon and Dorset.

To the east, the Devon coast offers charming seaside towns such as Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton, while to the west you can explore Dorset’s rolling countryside and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Just a short drive away, Lyme Regis is a particular highlight, known for its golden sandy beaches, dramatic Jurassic Coast scenery, historic Cobb harbour and vibrant mix of independent shops, cafés and restaurants. Nearby Charmouth, famous for fossil hunting, is also well worth a visit, with its sweeping beach and Heritage Coast Centre offering guided fossil walks and insight into the area’s unique geology. Hazelwood 3 on Pinewood Retreat provides a welcoming and well‑located base, combining excellent on‑site leisure facilities with easy access to some of the most beautiful coastline and countryside in the South West.
