“The Sheperds Hut was just as advertised in the pictures, but what couldn't be described, was the beautiful setting, the peacefulness, and just how totally relaxed you feel, with the Hut, hot tub and setting 'Practically Perfect in every way' The owners were lovely, friendly and welcoming but also left you to just enjoy your stay The quality of fixtures and fittings was exceptional, with little extra touches of the Welcome Basket and Alexa etc.”

Little Silver House & Shepherds Huts

Set in North Devon’s Tarka Country surrounded by fields and overlooking the Taw Valley, Little Silver House is the perfect setting for this group of three luxury shepherds’ huts and award winning holiday cottage Little Silver Nugget, each with their own private Jacuzzi hot tub. A couple’s paradise for escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life. Little Silver Nugget nestles to the side of the owner’s own house, an offers the space and indulgence of a boutique holiday cottage for two, with parking outside and its own woodland hot tub a short walk away. If glamping is more your scene, choose from one of three individually styled Shepherd’s Hut where you will be afforded all the same extravagance in a sublime setting, surrounded by nature and trees. On arrival, park up and leave your car, collecting your very own private golf buggy, your transport to your hut and around this magical setting, lit by fairy-tale sensor lighting so as not to disturb the dark skies. Once inside, your hut boasts a deep, indulgent king-size bed with a luxury Eve mattress, wrapped in Egyptian cotton for blissful nights. Wake up warm and cosy at any time of year with underfloor heating. Each hut comes complete with a wood burning stove and all mod cons including Wifi and Smart TV, under-floor heating, Sonos 1 smart speaker with Alexa personal assistant, or Amazon Echos pre-programmed with area guidance, and a Nespresso machine for your early morning coffee. Finish your day under starlight whilst you sit back and gaze up at the Milkyway from your own private hot tub. If you can tear yourself away from this romantic setting, the magnificent sandy beaches and dramatic North Devon coast are less than a half hour drive. The villages of High Bickington and Umberleigh are within a 5-minute, drive each with their own pub. The windswept moorland of Exmoor makes for a perfect day’s exploring and the pretty market town of South Molton is within a 10 minute drive. Whatever time of year whether it’s a special celebration or an opportunity to experience a luxury glamping holiday with friends, a stay at either Little Silver Nugget or the Little Silver Shepherds’ Huts will leave you longing to return.

Little Silver Fox Silvery Grey in colour, this beautiful shepherds’ hut sits midway within the orchard, perfectly positioned to enjoy the magnificent views of the valley below.

Step inside to the studio style accommodation with luxury king size bed, seating area with foldaway table and kitchen fitted with Belling electric cooker and hob, Smeg fridge and wood burning stove.

A shower room with walk in shower is situated at the far end and completes the accommodation.

Outside there is private lawn garden and patio area with private hot tub and Chiminea that also doubles as a BBQ, loveseat and table and chairs.

The small rural North Devon village of High Bickington is set in the area known as 'Tarka country'. On a ridge above the Taw Valley boasting views towards Exmoor and Dartmoor, the village offers a Post Office, two pubs, a holistic beauty salon and Libbaton golf course. The small village of Umberleigh is only five miles away and has a railway station where trains run on the Tarka Line to Barnstaple or Exeter. Within driving distance is the historic town of Great Torrington, where you will find independent shops and Dartington glassworks where visitors can watch in wonder at the glassblowers, plus on the outskirts of town is Rosemoor, a garden of national importance with forty acres to delight and inspire a wide range of visitors.
