"Master bed needs a new mattress, lower fridge door shelf was broken and the lower oven section didnt work."

Apart from that it was a lovely family weekend away. Very clean and everything you could need. Pools and the gym need booking online but were free to use and all the facilities were clean. Lots to do locally, Looe beach was so stunning. Staff were very friendly and happy to give any information needed.

    "Fantastic location and beautiful place."

Needs new mattress could feel spring freezer had to be defrosted on arrival and did not seem to work properly, fridge had door shelf missing and was under sink broken and no tall glass anywhere, drains start to smell after a few days ,but non of this affected our stay and would stay again but these things need attention. We had a fantastic stay the pool is fantastic we used it every morning staff are all very friendly nothing to much trouble shop is well stocked for everything, thanks for a great stay.

"Lovely lodge, lovely setting, but very tired and in need of investment."

The planters had two foot high weeds in them, the outside needs pressure washing and green mould removing from window frames and woodwork. The main bed mattress is awful and it was very difficult to sleep on. That said, it was well equipped and clean with everything else in good condition. The pub is in similar need of TLC and is a strange mix of bar with TV and garish fruit machines and a lovely old dining hall from an earlier life a a Manor House. The food was OK and although entertainment is advertised, there was none. Overall, we all just felt it could be so much better with a bit of effort.
