Benefit from ample off-road parking before making your way through to the rear of the lodge, reaching the well-appointed bedrooms on offer, including two twins, plus a double with Jack-and-Jill access to the bathroom.
A shower room can also be found on the ground floor, providing plenty of space to refresh and prepare for your coming days.
Climb the stairs to reach the open-plan living space, enjoying elevated views across the park, where you can rustle up homecooked favourites, dine, and unwind, before relaxing upon the balcony with the stream flowing in the backdrop.
Awaken to a coffee on the decked terrace whilst planning your itinerary, starting on-site where you can grab a bite to eat, before visiting the family favourite of The Tamar Valley Donkey Park.

Thank you for a lovely stay.
The lodge felt homely and very clean and tidy. It is well thought out with some little essentials provided. It has easy access compared to others onsite which was appreciated with my elderly mother. Sitting on the balcony appreciating the sounds of nearby running stream and birds was idealic. Would recommend the onsite pub and nearby Rising Sun for welcoming dog friendly pubs and great service. Also if you have a dog local service Paws and Hooves is brilliant to let your dog stretch his legs off the lead. We will hope to return in the future as everything was lovely.
As a family it was just what we needed, comfortable and enough space for all.
It was clean and had enough equipment for us to cook a meal. The site is a small community of similar properties, which was very nice to walk around with the dog. The pub did a very nice meal and the shop was very nicely stocked. You could see that some very needed maintenance was going on, with other properties. It was very relaxing overall.
When arriving it took a long time to warm up the property, we followed the instructions regarding boosting the boiler but the water would not warm up and the property was cold to stay in, then onwards we did have hot water so I’m guessing it’s because nobody had boosted the boiler that day.
The shower was listed as a walk in shower but it had a big step to get in this caused difficulties for our disabled family member and the rug in the hallway was a tripping hazard. The property was presentable and the kitchen facilities were great, however the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms had a strong foisty smell to it and black mould present in places. The bathroom doors wouldn’t close without a lot of force and one of the bathroom locks did not work. The smallest bathroom toilet seat was not properly attached meaning it moved. All 6 people staying in the property stated they would not recommended or re book this stay and for the money paid was very disappointing, I think with the correct maintenance this property could be lovely.

Note: Tennis courts are open from Easter until October half term
Note: Outdoor pool is open from mid May - mid September (weather dependant).
Note: The property is not owned or operated by the holiday park so any issues with it need to be directed to Sykes or the property housekeeper.
Note: Holiday park restrictions prevent workers/contractors staying on site.
Note: One dog is welcome, however breeds listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 are not permitted.
Note: This property has a private water supply which is tested regularly.
Note: Site Gym and Pool Rules - No under 16's permitted to use the gym. Pool - under 16's must be accompanied by an adult, two children max per adult. Under 8's/Non-swimmers should always be accompanied by a competent adult in the pool. No balls except beach balls. There are no lifeguards on duty.
