Great little place, clean, lovely sea view.

Well equipped kitchen. Little child’s bedroom really sweet, our little absolutely loved it. We didn’t clock that there isn’t an iron listed before coming (will bring one next time

Comfortable, clean and a great location.

Yards from Inner Hope Cove. 5 minute walk over to the main village where there are a couple of lively pubs. Plenty of places to eat out. Right on the South West Coastal Path. Inside the property is compact but has everything you need. Views over the cove. We were lucky with the weather and I loved watching the sunset from the lounge window. Only very minor criticism is lack of soap and loo roll for a weeks stay. A welcome pack would be appreciated as there is only one shop and once the days milk is gone - it’s gone.

Shippen was just right for us - comfortable inside and wonderful views.

Would definitely recommend to others. The only slight issue was that some of the slats on the shared decking weren’t secure so there were a couple of surprising moments!

We loved the location, and fell in love with the accommodation straight away.

Didn’t notice coffee machine mentioned in the listing so could have brought pods. The wastebin in kitchen units need replacing it was in the same condition last year. A beautiful apartment we hope to come again.

Shippen is a lovely holiday property, very clean, beautifully decorated and warm.

The views are amazing looking out on the Cove, the beach and sea. My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend. The only issue( and it is minor) is that we couldn't find an iron or ironing board. One or two of our shirts needed an iron before going out for a meal. Other than that, perfect holiday in a perfect place.

We both love Devon and Cornwall and Shippen was especially lovely.

Well-equipped and beautifully presented. The views were spectacular and we loved to watch the families playing on the beach, boats laying anchor in the bay and fishing boats setting out and returning, all from the comfort of the sitting room. The only fault we found was the placement of the kitchen wall cabinets. I'm not particularly small but I couldn't manage to take down crockery because the dining table was directly underneath. My husband hit his head quite badly ( it bled and bruised), standing up from the bench. That was the only criticism we had, everything else was just exactly what we had been wanting from our stay.

Really enjoyed this lovely property.

Great decor, facilities and cleanliness along with the amazing views and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Loved Hope Cove too - such a pretty village. Great to have car space but would be very tight if all properties were filled - luckily were not while we were there.

Wonderful property, comfortable furniture and beds, all furnishings were carefully chosen and of really good standard, not like some holiday let’s where it looks like they’ve been furnished from the local ‘tat’ shop.

Large windows that were cleaned to maximise that beautiful view that even looked good in the rain. Only minus point is the parking, it can be quite tight getting in and out of the allocated space, no room to turn.

The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our family holiday! It has fantastic sea views and is in a great location very close to the beach. Hope Cove was beautiful as always!

Brilliantly located of course and very comfortable.

this is a lovely flat with spectacular views of the bay, my only issue was as i am tall and the flat is in the eaves of the house i did bump my head a few times as most of the flat is of the dormer type with sloping walls inside but on saying that its not the property's fault i am tall but i think its only fair to let other people know of this.

Shippen is a fantastic apartment!

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and just a few steps from the beach at Hope Cove. Apart from the bedroom, every room has a fantastic seaview and it was lovely to sit and watch the ever changing sea and sky. The patio was a great spot to enjoy breakfast and a coffee, again, with a seaview. The owners of the property have thought of everything you could possibly need whilst on a break and it was the most well equipped holiday let we have ever stayed in. We enjoyed some lovely meals at The Hope and Anchor - shout out to the staff there who are so very welcoming. We enjoyed a day in Salcombe which was beautiful and only a 15 minute drive away. We would highly recommend Shippen and Hope Cove for a few days away and would definitely return.

The property could do with a little tlc.

We took our maiden to put washing on which worked well or we couldn't have done any washing. The property is very well stocked with everything you need

There is free off road parking. The welcome gifts were a pleasant surprise and much appreciated.

Shippen was a beautiful, well equipped Apartment with mesmerizing views in a great location.

Lovely comfortable and clean accommodation.

. The location was ideal with eateries and pubs well within walking distance (very necessary with the stormy weather we encounted!) and the beach was a stone’s throw away. Shippen is a very attractive flat with a well equipped kitchen and facilities with fabulous views of the sea from the lounge and especially the kitchen window. Bathroom facilities were delightful with a great shower. We really enjoyed our stay.

Shippen was beautiful very well equipped the only thing is maybe a clothes airer but this is being picky We can’t thank you enough looking forward to next year hope we will be able to book it again

The apartment was overall delightful.

It met our expectations very well. Just two small caveats. Without a blind over the large window, the kitchen/dining area can get very hot when the summer sun is out. Also, getting the car in the parking space is not an easy manoeuvre.

Such a lovely apartment in a great position.
