Beachcombers can head to the coastline, where they will find a collection of sandy beaches, which are great for families and surfers, whilst the South West Coastal Path is ideal for the avid rambler to explore.
From the cottage, the resort town of Ilfracombe is just a short drive away, home to The Ilfracombe Aquarium, an eclectic museum and Chambercombe Manor, whilst in the other direction is the picturesque harbour village of Clovelly perched on a 400ft cliff, with no vehicular access.

This was a delightful bungalow with amazing views.
It was very tranquil and is placed right next to a bridle path leading to Barnstaple. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. We would love to go back.
The cottage was very comfortable with most things provided for.
Kitchen was adequately equipped. The location of honeysuckle cottage was great for visiting all the places that we had on our to do list. The only down side was the lane that lead to the cottage, full of pot holes and was like ridding a rollercoaster.. this is no fault of the owner as the lane is owed by several different people and you are told about it on the Web site. It would also be nice if the kitchen had some coffee mugs as there were only very small cups. Overall the cottage is greate and the setting excellent.
An amazing stay from start to finish.
This property is a true hidden gem with the most amazing views. You can sit outside and watch the sunset and feel like you are a million miles from anywhere just listening to the wildlife. Such beautiful gardens and wonderful hosts. It’s the best UK stay we’ve been on and I’m hopeful we can return next year. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. The house was very homely, immaculate and cosy and has everything you need for your stay. The photos of the property do not do it justice. I would highly recommend this property. We travelled up to the property in our 4x4, the track up to the house is fine. It’s just like a bumpy farm track in places. we observed regular cars (VW golf) go up and down the track with no problem. After a few runs up and down we got used to it. You just need to go slowly. All in all I will be recommending this place to anyone and everyone. Book it, you won’t regret it
