With its origins stretching back to medieval times, this characterful cottage has lived several lives, once a simple cob-walled thatched home, later the village infant school, and even a scout hut, before being carefully brought back to life as the welcoming two-bedroom retreat it is today.

Step inside and you’ll find an open-plan living space that feels both relaxed and full of personality.

The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need for easy self-catering, whether you’re rustling up a quick breakfast before heading out or settling in for a slower evening meal.

The dining area keeps everyone together, while the sitting area offers a comfortable spot to unwind after exploring the surrounding countryside and coast.

The cottage provides two well-presented bedrooms, a double and a super king size bed (zip/link can be twin on request), giving you flexibility whether you’re travelling as a couple, a small family, or with friends.

A bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC completes the layout, offering all the practical bits you’ll want during your stay.

Step back outside and you’ve got village life on your doorstep, with a friendly local pub just a short stroll away, ideal for a pint and a bite after a day out.

The wider area is rich with places worth discovering: Saltash and the sweeping Tamar Valley sit nearby, while the city amenities of Plymouth and the market town charm of Liskeard are both easily reached by car.
