  • "A beautiful cottage with a superb garden which we loved."

Very comfortable and everything to a high spec. A very tranquil and enjoyable stay, we will definitely come back.

  • "This is a really special property based in a wonderful location."

Within minutes you can be walking along the coastal path or in Dartmouth. The property has everything you could need and the garden is immaculate. We have stayed in loads of Coast and Country properties and hands down this is by far our favourite to date. My only admittedly pedantic point is that the sofa was not particularly comfortable but everything else was flawless.

We can’t recommend it highly enough.

  • "A lovely cottage which has beautifully maintained gardens, which looked lovely."

The only area we weren`t very pleased with were the two uncomfortable sofas which were extremely low and would be difficult for an elderly person to stand up from. The cottage was situated in an ideal part of the county enabling you to travel to many delightful spots, eg Dartmoor, Salcombe, Torbay and of course Dartmouth.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage."

The house is beautiful and has so many lovely features that make it a luxurious and comfortable home from home. You can tell everything has been thought about, and it certainly met our family needs. The garden is lovely and is so well looked after. The views from the cottage are stunning, and it is situated in a peaceful setting with lovely coastal walks. The only minor thing that we thought could be improved was the high chair, which our little one didn’t get on with. We truly loved Willow Cottage and all it has to offer. It really is a special place and perfect for a relaxing break. We hope to return in the near future.

  • "Willow cottage is just wonderful."

We spent 2 weeks with our 3 year old twins and enjoyed it so much we have booked for next year. The cottage has everything you need including a BBQ and is ideally located to explore the coast and walk or cycle in to Dartmouth.

  • "Willow cottage is a beautiful house to stay in."

The attention to detail with how the house has been furnished goes above and beyond and it makes a very comfortable stay. The location is idyllic and the views when taking the coastal path walk into Dartmouth are breathtaking! My only complaint is the hoover - it doesn’t work. This will need to be replaced.

  • "This house is just lovely."

The pictures don't do it justice. It is beautifully furnished and finished, has stunning views, is well located for a scenic walk into Dartmouth, and was an extremely comfortable and pleasant place to spend four nights with my family and my parents. Even Storm Dennis couldn't spoil it - it just made sitting by the log burner that much nicer. The booking process was very easy and the Coast and Country staff were extremely proactive and made everything simple. The contact from the housekeeper before we arrived, as well as the thoughtful (and delicious) gifts left for us, made us feel very welcome. I would hesitate to make any suggestion, as there has clearly been so much thought put into this house, but with 6 of us staying, I would have found it very helpful to have more than 6 water glasses, some more mugs, and also a couple of much larger pans for use on the stove top. Other than that, the facilities were brilliant. Thanks for a fabulous half term break!

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
