  • "Lovely modern, well equipped cottage in a beautiful peaceful location accessed by some very narrow country lanes."

A perfect base for exploring the amazing north Devon coastline.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. Yes, Devon does have some narrow lanes, they all add to the charm of North Devon. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Property Owner

  • "Lovely five nights stay in this out of the way cottage."

Very peaceful. Home from home. Enjoyed the bird song and watching the guinea fowl. Steep drive! Made it up and down on the electric bikes though. Thank you.

  • "Adipit lovely accommodation, should be advertised that stables is not easy on a easy access road just a very long track, very tricky for older drivers."

Would not have booked if was aware of this..

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the stables. Unfortunately we can’t do anything about publicly maintained roads, but we do always report the potholes which do get fixed. Property Owner

  • "Adipit is a lovely cottage full of light and great views."

However you should warn visitors about the very steep, narrow drive. Also there is no freezer or ice box - can't even freeze ice packs for a picnic. The bathroom has a tiny washbasin and the shower cubicle is very small. Not fit for purpose. Bedroom had no mirror for hair drying near a plug. Lot of waste space in that room.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We have taken on board your comments and have made some alterations to the stables. The fridge now has an icebox and the bedroom now has a full length mirror. We try our best to accommodate our guests with the resources we have. Unfortunately we can’t do anything about the drive but have made it wider for easier access at the bottom. North Devon is beautifully full of valleys and we are fortunate to live in one with a it’s beautiful views. Property Owner

It is flooded with light from two sets of patio doors and is a perfect spot for bird and wildlife spotting.

  • "Being the first time we have spent a holiday in a cottage as normal hotels, we were very impressed with the whole cottage."

Very modern with all mod cons. Very isolated and an ideal place to spend a week away from the hassle of every day life. So relaxing with fantastic views of the Devon countryside yet within easy reach of the coast and visitor attractions. The sunshine and warmth was an added bonus for the beginning of October. Would definitely recommend Adipit Stables.

Thank you so so much for your wonderful feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "A beautiful setting and the property is very well equipped with high quality furniture and fittings."

Having a lovely deck to sit out on is a bonus since you’re very close to nature and if you’re lucky might spot an owl or two or the odd hedgehog. We found it very peaceful and relaxing. Finding Adepits was a bit of a challenge without Satnav since the single track lane down to the turning is unmarked so some kind of a sign at the top would be very helpful.
