  • "It has been recently completely renovated to an excellent standard, provided a light, airy and fully equipped property."

    A bus stop is nearby for buses to Dartmouth and Totnes.

  • "Our family of four just returned from a lovely stay at Florence’s Nest."

    The chalet’s open plan living area really suited us with two young children, and the accommodation was fresh and brightly decorated. There wasn’t anything we found we needed during our stay as the kitchen had all utensils, pots and pans etc that we needed. The walk in shower was brilliant, in the spacious bathroom. Outside the chalet, we loved being able to see down to the river or across the valley to the forest. Norton Park was a nice quiet place to stay, only a few minutes from Dartmouth with two big supermarkets very close by. Thanks very much and we hope to return soon!

  • "Wow what cani say !"

    Absolutely brilliant. A real home from home with everything you need for a lovely stay. I have been coming to Norton Park with my family and grandchildren for just under 40 years and have been in most of the chalets all over but tend to stay on the side of this chalet because I think it has a better view of the countryside. However, this chalet seems to top the rest and that’s because it was so clean and most of all catered for dogs. I have a little chihuahua Chico and the chalet catered for everything to make his stay perfect too. There was no smell of urine etc which most chalets have and even sitting outside there were deck chairs and even a doggy spike to put in ground so Chico could be safely tied to it and enjoy the day. Thank you for a perfect stay and I have no hesitation on recommending this beautiful chalet to others and especially the doggies who also love Norton Park. Thank you once again ❤️

  • "The chalet itself was as expected but as usual the Cooking appliance needed cleaning before we could use it , a common theme with 5 out of 6 of our most recent cottage hire's."

    A lot of thought had gone into provision for our Dog which was nice. The major let down for us with this hire was the run down condition of Norton Park itself, very shabby, looks like its ready to be closed down.

    Thank you for taking time to give feedback. We are sorry that your experience was so negative. We will remind our cleaners to check the cooking appliances although this must have been a one off oversight as they are normally meticulous about the overall cleaning of the chalet. It's very sad to see that Norton Park was not for you. We believe from our other reviews that our privately owned chalet offers great value for money, comfort, cleanliness and facilities in a pleasant, tranquil rural setting on the edge of one of Devons most beautiful towns.   • "Unfortunately we had to leave early on Wednesday due to a medical emergency."

    We found the accommodation excellent very clean well presented and very well equipped. We loved the personal touches for the dogs and the welcome pack. We would give it 10 out of 10 and would definitely go again - many thanks

  • "Great property, very clean and well presented, lots of extras much appreciated."

    The property is not on a meter like other chalets which was great. The only thing I would add would be a coffee pot, but that is personal preference as we don't travel with one. Would definitely use this one again.

  • "Florence nest was a huge positve surprise."

    We were very wary of staying in a chalet against our normal new static caravan holidays, we need not have worried. All of the property was modern and of a very good standard, it also had every appliance, gadget that you could need. Extremely dog friendly but not a hint of dog - smell or hair wise to be seen. Towels provided were lovely, and beds comfortable. We would most definitely return here. Park was lovely and quiet.

  • "Very nice and clean chalet with everything you need."

    A welcome pack included and dog stuff as well.My only complaint was the shower head wouldn't stay upright it kept drooping down also shower rail was loose it needs attention.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town.
