The property

Nestled in the Devon village of Malborough, lies this charming Grade II-listed three-bedroom, thatched cottage, Rose Thatch.

Perfect for families, this early 17th century traditional property offers wonderful countryside views, on-site facilities, and superb access to nearby amenities and attractions.

Inside your new home-from-home, you are greeted by rustic cottage décor in the home's living areas, which include a well-equipped kitchen where the designated chef can find everything they'll need to rustle up delicious, home-cooked meals to be enjoyed at the kitchen table, or in the inviting sitting room, complete with its own TV and the crackling embers of a woodburning stove.

In warmer months, take your meals or favourite glass of wine out into one of the two gardens, one of which has a furnished terrace and barbecue, a terrific spot to gather with loved ones as you soak in views of your gorgeous natural surroundings.

When sleep calls, retire to one of three bedrooms, where you can relax and recharge ahead of a brand new day.

When you're ready to explore, head down to The Royal Oak pub, or the Old Inn close by, where you can eat out or just relax with a drink and enjoy live music events, while the necessities can be purchased at the nearby Co-op.

Bolberry Down Nature Reserve, Soar Mill Cove, Salcombe North Sands, Salcombe Castle Ruins, Salcombe Yacht Club and Harbour, or Snapes Point, which offers a breath-taking view point and a nature-filled walking track, are some of the areas top attractions.

Being situated in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), visitors have a wealth of options when exploring on foot and can stop at various attractions including Bolberry, Soar Mill and the beautiful beaches of Salcombe.

The pretty market town of Kingsbridge is a short drive away as is Hope Cove.
