  • "Lovely cottage , one of the best we have visited."

The shower was also the best, easy to control, no waiting for hot or burning yourself or freezing. Very quite location with many wild birds to watch. Only comment with a dog the other 2 bed property would be more suitable as had large grass area whereas we had stones, not a big problem but just a mention. Martin a great host, available if needed but not overbearing. 10/10 for relaxing week away from it all.

  • "We have just spent a week at Windbury."

The setting is peaceful and beautiful, with well kept gardens for both guests and wildlife to enjoy! The cottage is well laid out and everything we could possibly need was provided. Martin was helpful and friendly on the occasions we met him. The cottage is situated in the Hartland Peninsula from which it was easy to reach different sections of the Coastal Path, both in Devon and Cornwall. We also made a trip to the Eden Project and the local village of Clovelly. We would definitely recommend these cottages.

  • "Lovely cottage with pretty, peaceful surroundings."

Set in a very peaceful location at the end of a track, the cottage was very well maintained inside & out. We stayed in Windbury Cottage which was clean, comfortable & well equipped. The outside patio area and surrounds were beautiful, filled with flowers and birds. The manager, Martin, was extremely helpful & friendly & obviously takes pride in the cottages and grounds. He even gave us some bird feed so we could fill up when we wanted and sit and watch the many birds. The cottages are set in such a peaceful area, all you can here is the occasional sheep and the birds. We had a fantastic week here & would definitely return. Would recommend to anyone.
