It was too firm for me. Also, the key safe is located using the ‘what three words’ system that I don’t understand. It would be better to say the key safe is on the fence post opposite the door. It was good to find that the single beds are suitable for adults. Thank you for taking the time to do a review, however we were very surprised and disappointed at your comments considering we had spoken and you sent a text saying “we are having a lovely time at your lodge.” You even asked if your friends who were staying in Mortehoe could stay at our lodge. Sorry you found the bed too hard, all our other guests found it to their liking, saying how comfortable the beds are and people have felt refreshed in the morning ready to explore beautiful Devon. When we spoke I did mention that Sykes had sent you an email with very clear instructions marked “Collecting your keys”, you said you must have a look for the email! Please do, so you can see for yourself. Hope you had a good journey home. Property Owner Reviewed by Jackie4.7★Sep 2023 "We have never stayed at a property with so much attention to detail." It was everything we wanted to experience. It was luxurious and secluded. Very close to the coast and other areas. We actually stayed when it was the hottest September on record and it was so enjoyable. The owners were in touch in order to ensure that we were pleased with their property, and of course we were.
