Cosy and welcoming Bank Hall Farm proved to be very good value.

Well positioned for local walking trails as well as Clovelly, Westward Ho,the Hartland Peninsula and Bideford town, this cottage was ideal for all our and our small dog's needs. Our Hosts, Susan and Tom were charming and their welcome gift of scones and cream was was very well received after a long journey. Thoroughly enjoyed the break at this cottage and would recommend it to those wishing to be near this part of North Devon. Harry and Wendy

I have been in love with The Cottage since my first stay.

We have been back a number of times since. Tom and Sue are lovely people and we have enjoyed many chats with them about the area, the property and the wildlife. The Cottage is so homely and comfortable, my teenage daughter loves it as does the dog. Whether its keeping cool inside in the hot weather or making use of the fire in winter its an ideal place to relax. So close to beaches, pubs, villages and supermarkets its a great place from which to explore. There is also the Milky Way adventure park and the Big Sheep within a 15 minute drive. Or you can sit in the garden and watch the woodpeckers, the rabbits or the swallows. The scones on arrival are amazing and popular with the wife and child, and I enjoyed plenty of evenings enjoying a cider and a book in the garden. For dogs there are walks from the door, and i enjoyed running along the coastal path. If you are expecting a power shower and mod cons you might be disappointed, but for what it lacks here the peace and quiet more than makes up for it. You can stroll up the hill to the village and enjoy the local pub The Bell, which is very highly rated, and the local butchers are exceptionally good, supplying most of the local pubs. The little garden had suffered a bit in the heat but generally everything is well kept and tidy. We are counting down the says until we can come back.

Lovely and cosy, had some great log fires during our stay.

So peaceful and far from the madness of real life. Bed was very comfortable. Thank you so much for the lovely cream tea. George our dog totally enjoyed his stay. It was so lovely to see the countryside and hear and see the lovely birds. Thank you Sue and Tom for a lovely stay.
