For a coastal excursion, visit nearby Shaldon, where you can enjoy the beach, explore the village and wander beside the Teign Estuary, or continue to Teignmouth for another day beside the Devon coast.

Torquay is also within reach for a change of scenery, while Exeter and Plymouth offer further inspiration for days out.

After exploring the coast, countryside and town, return to 11 Prospect Terrace and settle in for the evening.
