Kittiwake is situated on the banks of Noss Creek in the charming village of Noss Mayo, located within the South Devon AONB. This detached cottage offers a wonderful modern holiday home for friends and families alike, looking to explore this beautiful unspoilt countryside area.

The property boasts a delightful open-plan living space, with plenty of seating to relax and unwind, with a wood-burning stove to keep you warm during winter evenings.

There is a smart TV, WiFi access and a Bluetooth speaker system for all entertainment options.

For more traditionally minded guests, a chest is provided stocked with board games and puzzles.

The dining area provides seating for five and has the benefit of ready access to the furnished balcony, also offering al-fresco eating.

Adjacent is a fully equipped kitchen so you can enjoy your home-cooked meal with magnificent views across the surrounding village, countryside, hills and nearby creek, whatever the weather.

There are three lower ground floor bedrooms; one double, one twin/double, and a single with an en-suite w/c shower room that can only be accessed via the garden or balcony, ideal for a teenager looking for some privacy.

The family bathroom has quality fixtures and fittings, with a bath and shower over.

Underfloor heating and dual-heated towel rail ensure comfort for all seasons.

Outside is a bespoke and imaginatively landscaped enclosed sunny garden, allowing you to sit outside and enjoy this beautiful setting.

A charcoal barbecue and fire pan are provided for guests to use.

The property has the benefit of two parking spaces and a garage for storage of kayaks, paddle-boards or bikes.

Noss Mayo is a beautiful, thriving waterside village situated on the turquoise creeks of the River Yealm.

For hill walkers, Dartmoor is only a 15 minute drive.

Newton Ferrers 1 mile; Plymouth 10 miles

The charming creek side village of Noss Mayo is hidden away on the banks of the beautiful Yealm Estuary. The area is blessed with many coastal and countryside walks. Local beaches, Stoke and Cellars are just a three-quarters of a mile walk. The village is home to two excellent waterside pubs with river views, both of which offer superb meals using the best of local produce.
Across the water, the village of Newton Ferrers, which has a local butcher, chemist, Post Office and general grocery store, may be reached on foot via causeways at low tide. A seasonal ferry also operates between Noss Mayo, Newton Ferrers and the SW coastal path to Wembury. The surrounding South Hams area is well known for its award-winning, sandy beaches and also for the breath-taking beauty of the Dartmoor National Park. All are all within easy reach, as are interesting towns and villages such as Totnes, Salcombe, Dartington and Modbury. The city of Plymouth with its shops, Marine Aquarium and Barbican quayside area is just 10 miles away.
