  • "Lovely apartment, 2mins from seafront and another 2mins to town centre restaurants & shops."

Only grumble was the wifi codes need to be more prominently displayed eg in Visitor Info and/or by router

The apartment is airy and clean and very close to all the good restaurants, beach and amenities. We will definitely come back again!

  • "Overall we had a lovely stay, positives include the location which is excellent and car parking a real bonus."

The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. However there are a few minor issues that let the property down: in the main bedroom neither the cupboard door or the en-suite door shut properly, we only had one remote control for the two TV's in the bedrooms, neither toilet flushed particularly well, there was a residual unpleasant odour in the main bathroom to the extent that we had to purchase air fresheners (we noted from the guest book that this was being mentioned over a year ago). However the main inconvenience was that the code that Sykes provided for the keypad on the main entrance door was incorrect, which after a long journey was really annoying. Fortunately another resident came to help us and he advised that the code we had was a number of weeks old, and he very kindly told us the new code (all of this happening while we were on hold to Sykes).

  • "Overall my stay was comfortable and enjoyed it - originally I had booked for 19 days."

Unfortunately moved out early as the wifi wasn’t great and I was trying to work remotely. There was a significant delay on the tv in the lounge and I was not able to use the Smart App - which was very disappointing. There was a smell in both bathrooms and maintenance came to try and sort this which it did get better. Other than that it’s a great place and lovely location. If wifi isnt high in the priority list I would recommend to stay.

Having not had any feedback raised about the Wi-Fi from previous guests, I was surprised to hear that Ms B encountered some issues. I was keen to address this immediately and had a maintenance technician attend the property the very next day. Unfortunately both the Wi-Fi issue and bathroom smell were not raised until 10 days into her stay, I wish I had been given an opportunity to address the issues raised sooner. However, both were rectified within 24 hours of being brought to my attention. Ms B accepted my apologies and £50 compensation for any inconvenience caused. N.B When I discussed this with my property management company afterwards I was told that EE had some network issues during this period which is unfortunate. Property Owner

Photo graph gives the impression that the accommodation has a balcony where as it is in the roof void (very disappointing) as low ceilings

Thank you for your feedback, Riviera Heights does have mattress protectors and there are also spares in the wardrobe this has been dealt with via the housekeeper. The extractor fan does work it had been turned off by a previous guest.. This property is not advertised as having a balcony Property Owner

  • "The apartment was very nice and the location was perfect."

It had many good facilities such as dishwasher and washing machine and TVs in both bedrooms as well as an ensuite to the master bedroom. However, although one fan was provided it definitely needed a couple more as sleeping in the blistering heat was not very pleasant at all. With the apartment being a loft conversion with velux windows it gets VERY hot!!!!!! There was also an unpleasant odour in both bathrooms all week. I would also like to talk about the stairs. These are very steep, as is the driveway up to the property. This would make walking up with a pushchair/pram VERY difficult and also people with mobility problems would struggle (don't think this was mentioned in advert). Overall although the location was amazing I don't think I would return.

  • "After 6 years of not having a holiday due to business commitments I was really looking forward to our stay and wasn’t disappointed when we arrived."

Ideal for the beach and town centre for all the fun a holiday could offer whether it’s sitting on the beach or exploring a bit further for the zoo and other attractions. The apartment was clean and tidy with the extra advantage of a washing/ tumble dryer for those beach days . We went while there was a heatwave so change of clothes was probably more often than normal. The fan provided was an extra help too. Would recommend to anyone wanting a central location to Paignton . Had a great week. Linzi

  • "The property was recently renovated to a high standard."

On arrival it was apparent that the flat was on the third floor of the property in the loft and without a balcony. The stairs to the flat were steep, which was okay for us, but may be a problem for those with mobility issues. The property has a dedicated car parking spot (so took away the stress of parking) and is close to Paignton centre and the beaches which was good.

  • "The flat itself was lovely and had everything we needed."

I requested the single beds to be zipped together but this did not happen. When we saw the picture we thought we had a balcony then found we were on the very top floor, not good if you have mobility issues. I feel this should have been stated when booking. We did not realise there were 5 flats and would have preferred a lower level one. The flat is situated in a good location for everything.
