  • "The lodge was very clean and presented lovely, we found that the listing was incorrect suggesting that it was a king size bed and a playstation 4 available (which were the 2 points that made me choose this lodge) to find neither true."

The beds were quite noisy, a window in one of the twin rooms had no handle/lock and was taped shut which left the lodge and our belongings not secure. We had a power cut and called maintenance which there was no answer and a message was passed on, after 30 mins the power came back automatically, with no call back or anything from maintenance ro check. The lock on the main door seems to stick from time to time when locking it.

  • "We arrived struggling to open the lodge as it had a very faulty lock to it on the front door."

This continued to be a problem until one afternoon we couldn't get into the property at all because the locking mechanism failed entirely. After phoning Amy for help to get into the lodge she came out to see for herself what the problem was, then phoned for a lock smith to sort the problem out. The entire mechanism was replaced by the lock smith after finding that it had failed entirely. We were very cold waiting for Amy to turn up due to the weather but we're grateful at how quickly Amy dealt with the problem.
