At the end of a private track about half a mile from the centre of the Dartmoor village of Postbridge is this cottage created from the end of a Victorian farmhouse.
Head up the steps into the porch and through French windows into the comfortable open plan living area with seating area with cosy wood burning stove, dining area and neat kitchen area.
Stairs lead you up to the two bedrooms, each with pleasant view of the garden or moors, and a bathroom.
Along the track at the back, you have a garden with big lawn surrounded by trees.
At the front, a footpath leads you to the village pub and shop in about five minutes.
Beyond the house is lovely Dartmoor countryside and open moorland, with lots of walking routes to choose from and fishing in the River Dart.
This is the heart of Dartmoor, where you will get cream teas and ice creams from the village shop and you can find the Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre.
The remote pub at the Warren House is worth visiting to see the fire that never goes out, and Plymouth, Exeter and beaches are only about twenty miles away.
This is a lovely area for walking or seeing the amazing scenery, with The Annexe an excellent base.
