Campion Cottage

We had a lovely stay at Campion Cottage.

The setting was beautiful and very peaceful yet only a short drive to Bude and the beach. The cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and games room was a huge bonus too :) Would definitely stay here again

We have stayed at Campion cottage a few times now, it suits us well, seclusion and facilities that we need, including Chihuahua safe garden.

As always, the Cottage was welcoming and spotless throughout, and thanks must go to Fay, Hattie & Owen, who obviously care about the Guests comfort, hygiene & maintain high standards throughout stay. Trev & Jackie & the Krays.

We returned to Campion Cottage, on 27Sep25 for 2 weeks, after a week stay 28Jun-05Jul25.

The Trevalgas Complex, is great, good choice of Cottage size, Heated Pool, Washer facility, Games room and close to Bude, Shops & Eateries. Our Cottage is well maintained, fully furnished, and comfortable, garden is great, sitting out & for our 2 Chihuahua, who love it too. Our Cottage on Arrival, during & Departure, we're carried out to extremely high standard, by Fay & Hattie - who had a welcome & Smile throughout, both loved our Chihuahua too, "Bonus". Will be staying again, as it feels like home. Trev

The cottage was comfortable and cosy in a lovely peaceful setting , local pub very good food and hospitality excellent unfortunately no footpath to walk but still worth going to.

Holiday very enjoyable from start to finish and the accommodation could not have better.

This is the second time we have stayed at this cottage, it is a lovely site and all the other visitors were friendly.

The swimming pool is great.

Great facilities and in a beautiful area

We had a lovely stay, beautiful setting, ideal with a dog, the garden being secure, swimming pool amazing, so clean everywhere

Lovely holiday cottager in a great location.

The swimming pool was an added bonus, so very clean. Super comfortable bed and sofa's, great when you have a bad back. It did get a little damp & chilly towards the end of our week so I tried to put a couple of the night storage heaters on. I read the instructions and went on the internet for more info. Perhaps an idiots guide to the one in the main living area for people like me who have never had to use them before?

We have just returned from a weeks stay.

The cottage is lovely and comfortable, There is plenty of storage for food. The garden is enclosed and made it much easier with the dogs. The cottage is located within easy reach of Bude . The swimming pool is a great asset. We will be coming back to this cottage. We found the staff we encountered very friendly and helpful.

The cottage was beautifully clean on arrival and all the staff we encountered were lovely. It was so wonderful to have an uncrowded pool on site that we started each day with a dip. Thank you, we will be back.

Lovely stay, one of the most comfortable beds in a holiday cottage.

Great stay that was booked at short notice.

Nice pub a short walk away loved the steak evening, we booked early so we could be back before dark. Beds made up and towels provided. Didn't get time to use pool....maybe next time.

Needs a new mattress in main bedroom, proper sockets in bedrooms and lounge area NOT EXTENSION CABLES EVERYWHERE As I am sure this is a health and safety issue.

Needs new shower fittings as they are rusty, problems with hot water, I at to turn the fridge up as not cold enough, mould starting to appear in second bedroom.

Cottage was lovely location, cosy and had everything for our needs.

I would stay there again. Facilities such as the swimming pool was amazing. Just a short walk to a lovely pub serving great food. 5 minute drive to the beaches.

It was lovely.

Spacious and clean. Plus nice to have a jigsaw as well as good cooking equipment. The swimming pool and apple trees plus play area were fantastic.

The location of the cottage is good to reach points of interest.

There is no privacy when in the small garden. The cottage needs a complete renovation, it is tired and the cooking equipment, needs replacing. carpets, bedding, in fact all need replacing. The swimming pool was a real selling point, however, it was not supervised and was used as a games room, with ball fights, adults throwing children , we could not swim, tried several times, gave up. The information suggests the pub is walking distance, I do no feel this is so, its a car ride. The cost of the holiday, we expected far more.

We stayed at champion be for and found it very comfy and clean all there you need

in general the cottage was acceptable the lounge carpet showing signs of wear with pulled threads the sofa had some staining i noted there was not a fire heat detector to the kitchen area and the front and garden doors did not have knobs to ease exit if there was a fire

Campion Cottage was well situated for Bude and the Cornish Coast.

We had a great week. The cottage was adequately furnished but could have done with a general update such as curtains and general decor - and definitely more crockery to save running the dishwasher daily. The main table was super sticky despite us cleaning it endlessly and we ended up using a beach mat on there. There was no map showing the site or information on good places to go nearby or other guest comments. Other than that served us really well.

We had a fab time - the cottage was perfect the only hitch we hit was hot water as there was 5 of us staying there - but we got around this by utilising the showers at the pool after our daily swim.

Pool was good for swimming but disappointing that you couldn't dive as too shallow.

Main areas clean but corners and under beds sofas weren't and various items still on surfaces from previous guests. Helpful staff provided new airer quickly when broken one reported. Dishwasher is on its last legs. The complex of cottages could do with more clothes lines for hanging wetsuits etc on.

Little extras make all the difference and finding Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits upon arrival was a great gesture.

The cottage was perfect, the site facilities everything we needed. The pool was amazing. Myself, husband and the dogs had an amazing week. It would be nice to have seating facilities out front for the evening when the sun moves but this is only a minor suggestion. The condition of the property and location were all we hoped for.

had a fantastic time in campian cottage our 1st time in Bude and we loved it .

The swimming pool was great and the covid restrictions of booking a 45 min session worked really well and we managed to get a slot every day . the weather was very kind to us and overall its was a fantastic holiday

The complex was lovely the swimming pool and facilities excellent.

However our little cottage campion needs a bit of sprucing up.A lick of paint here and there.It also had a damp smell at times and the heating system needs upgrading.

Fantastic cottage, when I phoned the caretaker up before we arrived she was so helpful.

Lovely touch in the cottage when we arrived tea, coffee super and milk had been left for us .

We loved every minute of our week in Cornwall.

Perfect starting point to explore beautiful Cornwall. The cottage was clean, comfortable and offered everything that we needed. With the weather being a bit blowy the swimming pool, games room, onsite parking and the laundry room added to our positive experience.

Great value for money on our first trip away with our dog.

Really well equipped cottage; milk, biscuits, tea and coffee, really appreciated on our arrival, nice touch! The pool is a really nice facility to have on site. We would have appreciated maybe more info on dog walks that could be taken from the cottage
