    The house is large and well designed. There are five bathrooms all of which are in lovely condition.The beds are very comfortable and storage is very good.Parking in Salcombe is difficult so the fact that two large parking spaces are provided is a great bonus. The outside area in good weather would be another bonus. I would recommend this lovely house to anyone.

The central location means that local amenities can be found within a mere stone’s throw, with the shops and pubs situated within a few minutes' walk.

Whilst staying at this property, you will have a number of activities to keep you busy.

The beautiful family friendly beaches at South Sands and North Sands are perfect for water sports whether it be swimming, paddle boarding or sailing.

Alternatively, you can explore the National Trust property Overbecks, trek up to Start Point Lighthouse or visit the market town of Kingsbridge.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
