Comfortable apartment with beautiful views of the estuary.

I spent happy hours watching the activities of the ferry and the yachts sailing gracefully across the water. One criticism, the carpet needs cleaning other than that all is good.

We had a very enjoyable stay at 24 The Salcombe.

It was very well equipped. Arrival with luggage was difficult as the lift does not serve the 2nd floor however after struggling we later found an entrance directly off the street through a side door on Fore Street to the second floor - this was not mentioned anywhere on the arrival notes or description. Also the apartment is split level with two very deep steps up to the bathroom and the lounge although ok for us could cause a problem for others with reduced mobility.

Amazing views, kitchen excellent, apartment tastefully fitted out.

Bed and seating very comfortable. Location excellent and despite it being very central, no noise issues. The carpet in the dining area was very stained. There were holes in the plasterboard wall by the bedroom door and skirting boards could do with a thorough clean/repaint. I think it’s worth mentioning in the listing that it is a steep step up to the seating areas in both rooms. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and would definitely revisit.
