Lower Fernlea is a spacious pet-friendly apartment with accommodation over two floors of a period town house, fully refurbished in recent years to a very high standard throughout and with off road parking spaces for two cars.

Situated on the lower end of Devon Road within easy access of Courtenay Park, Salcombe town centre and its famous waterfront. A flight of stairs leads up from the enviable parking area to the ground floor entrance into the stylish living accommodation.

A cosy lounge area has a feature stone fireplace, two lovely sofas and a Smart TV with DVD player to sit and watch family films, or listen to your favourite songs on the CD/MP3 player.

A small dining area is located in the lounge, with seating for four people, where you can see glimpses of the estuary and Batson Creek.

A contemporary kitchen with an ideal breakfast bar is fitted with granite worktops.

With an electric oven, hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and dishwasher, cooking in your self-catering home is a pleasure.

The ground floor master bedroom features New England style décor and a King-size bed.

Its lovely en suite shower room has a power shower and w.c.

A twin bedroom on the first floor brings waterside features into the property, with modern seaside décor.

The twin room has two 2’6” beds and chest of drawers.

For a hassle-free holiday, a travel cot and highchair is provided, and off road parking spaces for two cars.

Outside the front of the property is a private patio with occasional furniture.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
