Fore Street House Fore Street House is located in the very heart of the popular coastal town of Seaton, Devon, just moments away from the seafront and beach. Conveniently located to enjoy all that this town has to offer with independent shops, eateries and attractions close to hand. The mile long beach is popular with beach goers whether its swimming, fishing or trying some of the water sporting activities on offer including paddle boards and kayaks which are available to hire. Come evening time, the esplanade is a great place to enjoy a gentle stoll, enjoying a beach barbeque or simply sitting with fish and chips in hand while watching the sun setting over the bay. A popular destination to enjoy at any time of the year, the town boasts a plethora of events to enjoy from the arduous ‘Grizzly’ race to Seaton Eats Boutiques, a monthly mouth-watering food event on the seafront during the summer. The Gateway Theatre is an incredible home to live music, the performing arts, live streamed theatre, films and community activities throughout the year. For nature lovers, take time to explore Seaton Wetlands and enjoy beautiful marshland and reedbeds alongside the River Axe. Or adopt a more leisurely way to spend an afternoon and hop aboard the Seaton Tramway which follows a route alongside the a populary to Colyford and the market town of Colyton, known as the rebellious town in England, a tag dating back to The Monmouth Rebellion Situated on a popular stretch of the Jurassic Coastline, a designated world heritage site, the area is popular with walkers with many coastal walks including the South West Coastal Footpath taking in such sites as Golden Cap as well as popular fishing villages of Beer and Branscombe. The Beer Head to Branscombe stretch offers stunning scenery and rugged clifftop terrain, but those who tread this path can reward themselves with a bite to eat and a beverage at the Masons Arms in the centre of the village before the climb back up to the cliff top path. Venture inland to Blackberry Castle, an iron age hillfort set in pretty woodlands with a carpet of bluebells in the spring.
