Great to be right in town and loved people watching from the window .
Nice small outside sitting area but only a little moan about the fan from building next door .

"If you are looking for a quiet break this is definitely not for you."
Apartment 2 is sandwiched between the footstep noise and movement from above in Apartment 3 until all hours of the night and the noise from the butchers shop downstairs hammering down on his chopping board from 6:30am in the morning. We didnt find this a restful and relaxing stay at all.
The apartment is essentially a 2 room apartment made up of the living / kitchen area and to the rear the bedroom both of which are hugely overlooked with apartments directly opposite the living space having views into the apartment and to the rear a outside seating area that is well used by people especially kids at night. There is also an industrial extractor fan for the next door restaurant located just near bedroom window that is on and off continuously throughout the night.
This apartment provided as much privacy as a goldfish bowl.
The apartment is however very nicely presented.
Guests are provided with one towel per person for a full week's stay. Because there is no washing machine in the apartment, daily shower users or beachgoers may find this restrictive. Requesting extra towels via the agent was met with an unhelpful response, which negatively impacted the customer service experience. We were eventually given towels after three complaints.
It's a small inconvenience that becomes an issue if you need it, especially for stays with more than a few days duration..
There isn't an iron in the property so if you think you would need need one then you would need to consider that.
Seaton itself feels a little run down with a number of empty shops around and a huge stagnant building site on the seafront that I believe from a local source has been that way for 18 months after the money ran out to complete the project however it does overlook a lovely pebble beach.
Overall I would say read all the reviews before deciding to book this accommodation to get a balanced understanding if this is right for you.

Presented to a very high standard both in decor and facilities, in a central location AND allocated parking very near.
The owners were very helpful with suggestions of trips out etc
I would return tomorrow to this property - it is a perfect base for exploring the SW coast.

"We had a most enjoyable stay and the apartment was ideally located and well presented."
We found the shower to be extremely slippery when used and the blinds difficult to operate - so we didn't use them. There were also so many items in the kitchen area (which was great) - but there was then little storage room for our things!! Also the top shelves were impossible to reach. Some sort of floor mop would be handy. We found the induction hob difficult to use to begin with (we are used to gas) - but easy when you know how!! Thank you for the time and effort you put into making this apartment so enjoyable. We would highly recommend.

At 11.30 on the morning of the start of our holiday whilst on the M5 we received a phone call from Lyme Bay holidays asking for our car registration as the pass had already been paid for by the holiday let owner...a waste of £25 on our part

"We took food to cook, but it was wasted as there were no instructions on how to use the induction hob, even Google could not help, so we had to eat out every day."
Finding Fore Street House was difficult, as the owner hadn't given the address as Number 18. In the communal area, the bottom step is a trip hazard as the hallway is poorly lit even in the daytime.

It's in a fantastic location and parking is only a 2-3 minute walk away with pubs/bars/restaurants/takeaways/shops and the sea front within walking distance.

"This is a lovely apartment well decorated with a black and white theme and retention of some period features."
Car parking is in a public car park some 2 mins walk away. There are close to the property short stay bays of 30 minutes and we used these to load and unload the car. The apartment is one of three in a building which has commercial premises at ground level. Under apartment 2 was a Taste of Devon butcher. We had little noise from this establishment and what we did have was after 09.00am. I can recommend the sausages and kebabs. The other side was a Thai restaurant which while busy (we did not use this restaurant) again did not bother us. There is an outside seating area looking out onto a green. However at the rear of the Thai restaurant is an air conditioning cooling unit. This is quite noisy. This did not bother us unduly getting to sleep as we had the windows and doors closed. If it was hot in the bedroom and while there was a fan unit in there if you needed a window or door open it could an issue. The unit turned off at 1.00am.
The apartment is very close to the seafront, an Aldi and two pubs and eatery's. Would recommend Pisani pizza and Frydays fish and chips.

Had a small outside space for seating on with a drink in the sun. The quality of the apartment was very good and well maintained. Would not hesitate to book again and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a town based location close to the sea. Thank you.

Cannot think if one thing that wasn’t perfect about it and would definitely stay there again if we chose to holiday again in Seaton.
The weather wasn’t great the week that we stayed but the apartment was so comfortable we loved being there !
Highly recommended - very ‘high-end’ accommodation, and reasonably priced as well.
