"We had a most enjoyable stay and the apartment was ideally located and well presented."

We found the shower to be extremely slippery when used and the blinds difficult to operate - so we didn't use them. There were also so many items in the kitchen area (which was great) - but there was then little storage room for our things!! Also the top shelves were impossible to reach. Some sort of floor mop would be handy. We found the induction hob difficult to use to begin with (we are used to gas) - but easy when you know how!! Thank you for the time and effort you put into making this apartment so enjoyable. We would highly recommend.

At 11.30 on the morning of the start of our holiday whilst on the M5 we received a phone call from Lyme Bay holidays asking for our car registration as the pass had already been paid for by the holiday let owner...a waste of £25 on our part

"We took food to cook, but it was wasted as there were no instructions on how to use the induction hob, even Google could not help, so we had to eat out every day."

Finding Fore Street House was difficult, as the owner hadn't given the address as Number 18. In the communal area, the bottom step is a trip hazard as the hallway is poorly lit even in the daytime.

Everything is really well thought through and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It's in a fantastic location and parking is only a 2-3 minute walk away with pubs/bars/restaurants/takeaways/shops and the sea front within walking distance.

"This is a lovely apartment well decorated with a black and white theme and retention of some period features."

Car parking is in a public car park some 2 mins walk away. There are close to the property short stay bays of 30 minutes and we used these to load and unload the car. The apartment is one of three in a building which has commercial premises at ground level. Under apartment 2 was a Taste of Devon butcher. We had little noise from this establishment and what we did have was after 09.00am. I can recommend the sausages and kebabs. The other side was a Thai restaurant which while busy (we did not use this restaurant) again did not bother us. There is an outside seating area looking out onto a green. However at the rear of the Thai restaurant is an air conditioning cooling unit. This is quite noisy. This did not bother us unduly getting to sleep as we had the windows and doors closed. If it was hot in the bedroom and while there was a fan unit in there if you needed a window or door open it could an issue. The unit turned off at 1.00am. The apartment is very close to the seafront, an Aldi and two pubs and eatery's. Would recommend Pisani pizza and Frydays fish and chips.

Had a small outside space for seating on with a drink in the sun. The quality of the apartment was very good and well maintained. Would not hesitate to book again and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a town based location close to the sea. Thank you.

"Lovely place to stay in the heart of Seaton."

Cannot think if one thing that wasn’t perfect about it and would definitely stay there again if we chose to holiday again in Seaton. The weather wasn’t great the week that we stayed but the apartment was so comfortable we loved being there ! Highly recommended - very ‘high-end’ accommodation, and reasonably priced as well.

Seaton is a seaside town in East Devon on the south coast. It faces onto Lyme Bay, to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with red cliffs to one side and white cliffs on the other. Axmouth and Beer are nearby. A sea wall provides access to the mostly shingle beach stretching for about a mile, and a small harbour. Seaton is on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the town offers a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs.
