  • “The barn was lovely.”

The feel of the whole place was airy and everything felt new and fresh. so quiet and peaceful. The double bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable - so much so that my husband slept in the other room on a single bed! The gardens were lovely and great for a quick walk for a dog. ...

The feel of the whole place was airy and everything felt new and fresh. so quiet and peaceful. The double bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable - so much so that my husband slept in the other room on a single bed! The gardens were lovely and great for a quick walk for a dog. However... I'm afraid the location of this place meant travelling down a 1 mile lane - 12ft hedges/solid walls, road only 6 foot wide, single track with limited passing places and lots of blind bends. Honestly we dreaded leaving and dreaded coming back! I realise the locals are used to this and lots of delivery vans and utility vehicles use these lanes but for us it was just a massive distraction when trying to enjoy our holiday. NOT the fault of the owners but an important factor.
