Each lodge features a private patio area with furniture to enjoy alfresco dining in the warmer months and benefits from a hot tub to aid relaxation after a day of exploring. Furnished to a high-standard, with fitted kitchens, which will inspire you to dust off those cookbooks and indulge in the contemporary appliances on-hand. All the lodges have a selection of well-presented bedrooms offering plush beds and ample furniture to store your personal items. Delight in the en-suite shower room, or indulge in the family bathroom with its elegant bath, perfect for enjoying a relaxing soak to soothe tired muscles. A short drive away is Spreyton, a delightful little village, home to the Tom Cobley Tavern and a convenience store for stocking up on the essentials. The award-winning pub, The Duck at Yeoford is also just a few miles away: an ideal choice for a special celebration (they even have a pop-up shop and offer takeaways toward the end of each week). Yeoford also has a train station and a park. Head to Okehampton, where you can visit the ruins of the medieval castle, set on a wooded spur above the rushing River Okement. Or travel a little further to ancient Exeter (just 13 miles away), with its historic quayside, varied shopping facilities and a selection of pubs, restaurants, and cafes. With mile upon mile of untamed wilderness to explore, the Dartmoor National Park is easily accessible and boasts a range of outdoor opportunities, including hiking, cycling, climbing, fishing or letterboxing.
