This is a well equipped holiday cotrage i.

A peaceful location. Beds are very comfortable and the outdoor space great for humans and dogs alike. We were disappointed that the hot tub was cold when we arrived so could not be used until the following morning as it took over 10 hours to heat up. This should be made ready for guests arrival.

Seagrass is very pretty property, it's clean & has everything we needed to have a great time.

It's very quiet & beds comfortable. Our dogs relaxed fast and loved the freedom in the garden. And it was lovely to relax in hot tub after our outings. It's really short walk to town & there is lots to do around. We walked to Instowe beach (lovely walk path all the way once you leave Bideford). Visited Hartland Quay, Clovelly, Westward ho, instowe beach.... It's so much to do & so beautiful around. We had a lovely break

We found the property to be perfect for our stay.

Very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings,very accessible to trips to places ,would definitely recommend, felt safe n secure. Nice touch with the welcome pack.

Beautiful accommodation.

Peaceful and clean. Super-king bed (can be a twin) very comfy. Hot tub a bonus although a little old with some of the jet adjusters not working. Lovely to have a welcome pack of Prosecco, chocolates and crisps along with washing up liquid & dishwasher tablets. Open fire great in the winter although fire lighters are needed.

Lovely stay in lovely accommodation.

Clean warm and well decorated. Quiet even though bideford was only a short walk away.Hot tub was lovely and hot too, very welcoming in cold January evenings. Lovely and safe too to let the dog out without worry. Only suggestions would be that Mezzanine could be better put to use I would say perhaps another bedroom ? Also a mop would be useful to mop the floors after any spills. Otherwise Lovely, thankyou to the owners also for welcome package on arrival , milk, coffee, tea, prosecco etc

Nice property, in a nice setting very quiet, with good parking but not as it was advertised sadly.

The property was lovely and clean inside, and the equipment was plentiful, we also enjoyed the hot tub. Our main issues were: -On arrival we found several old dog messes in the garden (completely understand that this is down to the owners) but surely this should be checked before new guests arrive? -The listing says that the garden is enclosed- true if you have large dogs, but if you have a dog under approx 10kg, please be aware that your dog could fit through the gaps between fence slats. There is a drop on the other side of the fence so that could be dangerous. Luckily we inspected the garden before letting ours off the lead, and had to keep them on a lead in the garden. - when we booked, I was advised that the property would be decorated for Christmas, it was not. Had I known this I wouldn’t have booked, I did email the owners twice before my stay to confirm that decorations would be up, but was ignored. -Beds are ready for an upgrade. - I took lots of unnecessary equipment, as there wasn’t a list of included amenities on the website. dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid which were provided (very nice gesture) but I’d purchased some as we didn’t know.

It would be very helpful if the property was sign posted more prominently.

Also somewhere to put your soap and shampoo whilst in the shower. Overall not too bad.

Very pleased with our holiday.

The location of the cottage was slightly out of town, but we knew this and it was our preference. It was very quiet, and it was great to hear the owls at night. The cottage was as described and had everything we needed. We took our dog, and he was very relaxed abnd happy. Great to have an enclosed and secure garden. The hot tub was also a bonus. We have been holidaying in cottages for many years, and have to say this was one of the best we have stayed in. There is pleny to do in the area, and although the weather was not good all week, we were prepared and it did not detract from our enjoyment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seagrass.

The house was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a home away from home. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in North Devon.

Overall the cottage was very good.

An armchair downstairs would be a useful addition to give older, less mobile, guests an alternative to the soft settees. The ikea armchairs upstairs are not suitable for older guests - too low and bouncy. The settee was broken before we arrived and had been partially mended. More cutlery and mugs would have been helpful. We were constantly washing them up.

Loved it all, really well thought out and felt a good standard.

Instructions to get there were clear. LOVED the welcome pack, really nice touch. Only 2 slightl negatives, the WiFi was patchy- first world problem and as soon as we sat on the sofa it dropped down on the middle and when we investigated it looks like it had had a repair job that had failed- propped up with a can of dog food for the whole stay but think it worked

It was a lovely place to stay .

Loved the surroundings /location. The cottage was also well prepared , lush bottle of prosseco with some other goodies to welcome us. Lovely. New bbq in the garden that we also utilised along with the hot tub. The only negative would be that the hot tub isn't working properly. The maintenance gent was available to look at it the next day but even after his visit it still didn't work as it should. We have been looking for place with hot tub and dog friendly which was extremely hard to find so when we found this cottage (at premium cost though)we were made up. So, on that this was our only dissapoinment. Otherwise very pleasant weekend even with not so great weather . Thank you

We loved our stay at Seagrass.

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the games room upstairs was an added bonus! We enjoyed the hot tub and wood burner and found the beds super comfy! Great location, felt secluded yet close to local amenities. We hired bikes and cycled to Instow along the tarka trail, perfect for families. Thanks again

Fantastic cottage, very comfortable and had everything you need.

We especially loved the hot tub! Just perfect, we had such an amazing stay! Would have been nice to have two working remote controls, batteries in the sky remote were not working. The oven wasn’t great, would be nice to have a fan over as the current one produced a lot of smoke and could do with a deep clean. The information sent out by Skye cottages was incorrect, so this need rectifying immediately, Peter is not working for the property any longer so must receive numerous phone calls like I did before starting my holiday to ask for amendments to the bed arrangement. Otherwise the surroundings were beautiful, the outlook from the lounge was breathtaking taking and all not being overlooked by anyone around. All round perfect holiday!

We had a lovely stay at Seagrass cottage.

The cottage is private and perfectly appointed with everything you may need. It was peaceful and central to travel into Bideford. Seagrass is very dog friendly with a secure garden and entertainment space, as well as lovely beaches and walks all around. It is also close to a few golf courses so if you are an avid golfer, it's perfect. Seagrass did not disappoint in any way.

It was a really cosy place, we loved the log fire and the hot tub.

The views from the property are amazing over the valley, with lots of trees. Great walking and cycling routes close by.

Lovely property well equipped we enjoyed our stay the hot tub a bonus after being out walking all day.

We had everything we needed. Would have preferred the lounge area on the 1st floor like Otter which is the property next door as sometimes the kitchen felt a bit small yet lots of wasted space upstairs. Overall though really happy with our stay we take our dogs away at least 3/4 times a year and use Skye cottages a lot.

We had a great week at Seagrass.

The welcoming pack for the family and dog were excellent. The hot tub made a great addition. When we had been on a long walk or bike ride it was nice to relax in when we got back to the cottage. The facilities were good and the cottage had everything you need. The upstairs area came in real handy when the weather wasn't great so you can play table football or board games while you wait for the weather to improve. With shops only 5 minutes away it is in a great location as well. When we arrived however there were quite a few cobwebs that we had to brush/hoover away in the living room and the pillows in the double room could do with renewing as they had lost there softness and were quite flat. Even with these couple of slight issues we would definitely go back and stay again.

A really, really fabulous cottage.

..you have got the flow of it just right. Every night we came back from a full day holidaying it felt like coming home. So comfy and warm, well kitted out and well presented. Both my wife and I said if we could, we'd like to lift it to anywhere in the country we stay in future. Thank you for a great holiday, (despite the grey weather at times)... we're jealous of the incoming occupiers!

We enjoyed our stay here, but be aware that to get to the property you have to drive up a very steep hill which has blind corners which makes it interesting drive when you meet oncoming traffic, although having said that the road is quiet most of the time.

Actual property was great in that it had a private fully enclosed garden ideal for our dog. Hot tub and games room were great. Property could have done with a bit of a better clean. TV is quite small but wasn’t really an issue for us. A couple of extra comfy seats in living room would have been ideal. Great location in that it is only a short drive to westward Ho beach where we went surfing most days. Pizzas were amazing at the Pig any Olive. Beach was nice any quiet and absolutely huge space to take the dog north of the lifeguard tower when the tide isn’t in. Also had a lovely coastal walk from Woolacombe (the one listed in the visitors book) we saw seals swimming in the water and basking on the rocks. Overall a very nice stay.

Lovely property, just a few minor issues Beds in second room very squeaky and noisy disturbed sleep TV in lounge is very small had to move it nearer to the settee It is up a steep narrow road so have to drive everywere But all that said very nice property

Fantastic house and has everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay.

Our teenagers loved the games room in the loft area and we all enjoyed the hot tub! The enclosed garden space was perfect for our energetic dog. The location is perfect to get to Westward Ho beach in about 25 minutes which is a lovely beach as long as you’re mobile enough to get over the cobbled stone wall first and Ilfracombe only half hour away where we took a fabulous speedboat trip. We found a gem of a hotel 5 mins away in Appledore - Durrant hotel I think it was called. They do lovely food and staff are very friendly and helpful it’s dog friendly! Really enjoyed our stay at Seagrass and will be back but just a couple of things would have made it a 10 all round for us, we feel for 4 plus people an extra comfy chair in lounge area or foot stools or pufe would make it more comfortable. There is just 1 TV in lounge which is very small, films we watched in the evening had tops of heads missing!
