The property

A lovely and unusual cottage in a quiet spot of Torquay, set back from the road, close to shops, bistros and the harbour and seafront.

Feeling cosy and cared-for, this homely cottage has wooden floors throughout, being decorated in a seaside theme.

It will appeal to lovers of the English Riviera, with the many seaside attractions on offer nearby.

On the ground floor is a cosy sitting room with large corner sofa, woodburner and high speed cable TV, ideal for a night in watching a film.

The well-fitted kitchen comes with a dining area, where you can enjoy a traditional English breakfast made from locally caught seafood.

The two bedrooms include a double and a single and they share a bathroom.

To the outside is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture, making it a good place to relax after a day exploring the area.

Stroll to the harbour to watch the yachts or wander down to the beach to enjoy a coffee with a view.

The English Riviera boasts several beaches including Meadfoot Beach, a fifteen minute walk from your cottage, or Oddicombe Beach in Babbacombe, reached by a quirky old clifftop railway.

Further up the coast, the traditional seaside town of Teignmouth can be found within twenty minutes’ drive, with its old-fashioned arcades, children’s playground and safe sandy beach set near the old harbour.
