  • "Fantastic location, amazing view, spotlessly clean, well equipped and wonderful hosts."

    The perfect vacation rental. Def the best holiday rental we’ve had as a family. Added bonus was the level access so we could bring my mum to visit in a wheelchair and a super friendly resident cat and dog too....not to mention the chickens! :-) Lovel the morning walk down to the beach but be warned, the steps back up are not for the faint hearted! Will def be booking again. Huge thank you to Helen and Phil for their hospitality!!

  • "Excellent location and very friendly hosts."

    The property was well equipped and maintained to a very high standard. The views from the lounge and bedrooms were stunning. Lots of little extras made all the difference. High above the town so you need to be mobile to walk there and back but plenty of parking in Torquay although it can be expensive.

  • "Wow wow wow!"

    We stayed at Seacroft cottage for a week in June, everything was perfect from start to finish. Helen & Phil were absolutely great and couldn’t have been any more helpful if they tried. The cottage itself was absolutely amazing with the best views & close to Torquay centre and beach without being too close. Close to other towns & beaches, lots of nice cafes, restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back!

  • "We were four adults and a toddler, and have just spent a fantastic week at Seacroft."

    The hosts, Helen & Phil, are extremely friendly and had kindly texted us the day before our arrival to say we could check in early if we liked, which was very much appreciated. They were also there when we arrived to explain all about the property and local area, and were contactable throughout our stay if we had any questions. The 'welcome pack' was also very much appreciated and enjoyed, as were the fresh eggs which were kindly supplied by the host's chickens. The house itself could not be faulted. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and very well eqiupped with everything we could need. The views over Torbay from the balconies are amazing, however the weather was against us for a few days so we didn't sit outside as much as we would have liked. Overall a stunning property in a fantastic location. Highly recommended.

  • "The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our break in Torquay, the weather was kind to us and we were able to have a good tour around - namely Salcombe, Teignmouth, Paignton and Dartmouth."

    The property was clean, tidy and had lovely comfy beds. Only downside was there could be a couple of trip hazards for the elderly and guests who were not so safe on their "pins". The owners, Helen and Phil were friendly and helpful.

  • "What a find!"

    Seacroft is a stunning property with fantastic views. Very comfortable beds & sofas, great showers, TV's in bedrooms, outside seating on balcony & terrace - it has everything... We spent a week there with friends (so 2 couples) and all agreed that it was one of the best properties that we have stayed in. Owners Helen & Phil were a delight and provided a great 'welcome' pack. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Having used Sykes Cottages for the last 10 years I can honestly say this is the best property we have ever stayed at."

    Spotlessly clean, well equipped, very modern and comfortable. Lovely to look out of the huge sliding glass windows on a night and see the lights of Paignton and Brixham twinkling across Torbay. Enjoyed a few meals on the balcony. Owners live next door so were on hand to welcome us and answer any queries we may have had. Enjoyed the welcome pack left for us.Made friends with their dog Nora and Harry the cat. Would 100% recommend this property if you are looking for a holiday house equipped to a high standard with relaxing views of the sea and coast across the bay.

  • "Very spacious property for the 2 of us."

    Hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, as were Harry and Nora. House was well equipped, clean and well furnished. Comfortable bed and efficient shower. Quiet location with wonderful views of Torbay from both the deck and balcony. A twenty minute downhill walk to Torquay, Wellswood and Meadfoot Beach. Would highly recommend and stay again without hesitation.

  • "Our family had a wonderful stay at Seacroft."

    What a super place. There was everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The kitchen was stylish and modern and very well equipped with all that we required and more. Everywhere was immaculately clean. The bedrooms had good storage, beds were extremely comfortable providing an excellent nights sleep and waking up to fabulous views over the bay. We could not have asked for more the owners had thought of everything even leaving home made scones, honey from their bees and Devonshire clotted cream. I must congratulate them on providing a property to such a high standard and hope to look forward to a return visit.

  • "We were lucky enough to spend the bank holiday weekend at Seacroft and what a find it was!"

    The house is immaculate, spacious and complete to an extremely high standard with everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect with just a short walk into the centre of Torquay and the views from the balcony’s were fabulous. We were greeted by Phil and Helen on arrival and they were so helpful with recommendations and quick to respond to any messages. The added touches such as fresh scones, cream, jam and fresh eggs from their own chickens were very much appreciated. We also loved the occasional visit from Nora the English bulldog lol. A truly great place to stay and we hope to return at some point. Thank you very much both! X
