"It was great loved the accommodation."
Shame there wasn’t some plants out on the yard out the front, as it was a bit bad sitting out there with nothing but the bins to look at. Apart from that I would definitely recommend to anyone, might use the other accommodation next time, definitely recommending to family as a lot of them love to camp out.

"A lovely property very clean."
The grandson enjoyed feeding the chickens, Cockerell as he called them, he also enjoyed seeing the tractors and cows (mama bulls)go by.

"An excellent stay in a beautiful location."
As there were only two of us, there was plenty of room in a 3 bedroomed cottage. The cottage was well furnished, with excellent wi-fi connection - always important! Every effort had been made to make us feel safe with covid restrictions. We were able to use the swimming pool as there was a booking system in place, so that only one group of people were able to use the pool at any one time. The weather was good and Teigngrace is an excellent location for visiting both the Devon coast and to visit Dartmoor. The staff were friendly and helpful - a great experience and total relaxation!

"We found the beds were really uncomfortable, especially the double bed with wooden side pieces, as the mattress went below the level of the wood."
We realise that the swimming pool was closed because of the covid 19 restrictions but it would have been nice to have been informed of this beforehand then the children might not have been so disappointed. The kitchen/dining area/ lounge were faultless. We did have a problem with flies probably due to being a farm environment.

"Patio area needed tidying up, patio furniture could do with a clean."
Wet room showers were very slippery prefer enclosed showers. Didn’t realise cottage was on a campsite and also thought the pool was for cottages use only.

"The location was excellent and the hosts at Twelve Oaks Farm are so supportive."
We arrived in pouring rain and high winds to meet with a lovely reception from our hosts at the local shop. The lodge more than lived up to our expectations. It was was immaculate and very nicely decorated. High quality evening meals were available on site, which was much appreciated when needed. We will be back and recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a superb spot in South Devon.

Where you’ll be staying
NEWTON ABBOT
Teignmouth 5 miles; Shaldon 5 miles; Torquay 10 miles; Exeter 18 miles; Plymouth 31 miles
Newton Abbot is situated in the heart of The English Riviera, with its mild climate and thriving palm trees. The ancient market town now offers plenty of modern shops, both local and well-known high street chains and six leading brand supermarkets. There's also a racecourse where National Hunt racing takes place from spring until autumn, with craft fayres during the winter. Newton Abbot has a unique pub, the tap house and bottle shop, located in the building of what was a traditional working malthouse offering arguably the finest bottled beers in Devon. The seaside towns of Teignmouth, Shaldon and Dawlish are nearby and are fantastic destinations for families. Spend a day on the beach building sand castles and walk the impressive Victorian Pier at Teignmouth. The National Trust houses of Bradley Manor, Coleton Fishacre and Compton Castle and many others are well worth a visit, whilst the highlight of your stay will undoubtedly be the stunning beaches around Torquay and the many hidden coves such as Meadfoot, Oddicombe and further afield the pretty Ness Cove. And of course, the South West Coast Path provides stunning seascapes across the bay, with a popular stretch from Torquay Harbour to Daddyhole Plain, passing through Beacon Cove where Agatha Christie used to swim as a girl. Newton Abbot provides a fabulous base for an English seaside holiday all year round.
