    “This property although a little isolated is wonderful.”

The property

Mill Barn is a fabulous house converted from the largest part of a barn complex on the edge of Woolston hamlet opposite a farmhouse.

Private and beautifully designed, it is outstanding accommodation for family gatherings or groups of friends to enjoy.

When you enter the massive open plan living space you will be struck by the lofty beams, huge window and oak floors, making a very smart and modern area for socialising.

The seating area has a cosy wood burning stove to gather around, the dining area offers a big table for leisurely suppers and the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped.

At this level, you have a choice of two en suite double bedrooms, both with a TV.

Take the stairs down to four more comfy bedrooms and a playroom where the children will love playing air hockey, table tennis and on the Wii.

Thoughtfully provided on this level is a handy second kitchen, a real asset for big groups to all find their own space.

Outside is your safely enclosed courtyard at the side of the house, where you can eat out or stretch out on the grass.

A rear courtyard has a useful outdoor shower, wash-down area and a garage/drying room for bikes, beach gear and wet dogs.

Over the little used lane in an orchard are more treats for the children: an unheated games barn for playing skittles, pool or table tennis and a play area with climbing frame and slide.

You can watch the children have fun whilst you cook fresh seafood on the barbecue.

This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so bring your walking boots and be prepared for some stunning countryside or head on to the South West Coast Path for cliff top views out to sea or take a trip to the Dartmoor National Park for heather hills and massive tors to climb.

The beauty of this area of South Devon is of course the choice of spectacular beaches where you can surf and enjoy family fun on the sand.

Salcombe and Kingsbridge are the go-to towns for thoroughly satisfying retail therapy in interesting little shops, or a feast in a great restaurant.

Mill Barn is a very special place for gathering with those you love, whatever the weather brings.
