Arrive and park in the designated space, where the setting immediately reveals itself, with clear views across the beach and out towards the sea as soon as you step out of the car, setting the tone for a stay centred around the coast.

Positioned near the Oasis café, the location adds an easy, laid-back feel with somewhere close by for a morning coffee or a bite to eat before heading onto the beach.

Step inside and make your way into the sitting room, where you can drop your bags and settle onto the seating, switching on the mounted TV or gathering around the dining table to plan the day ahead.

Continue through to the kitchen, where you can prepare simple meals using the electric oven and hob, with the microwave on hand for something quick, and the kettle and toaster ready for easy breakfasts before heading out.

The fridge freezer keeps everything stocked, while the washing machine comes in handy after sandy days by the water.

The ground floor is also home to a twin bedroom, offering a convenient sleeping arrangement.

Head upstairs to find the double bedroom, where the coastal aspect continues, with elevated views stretching across the beach towards Weymouth and Portland, giving a wider perspective of the shoreline you experienced on arrival.

The en-suite provides space to freshen up with a bath and shower over, while a separate cloakroom with basin and WC adds practicality.

Step outside onto the patio, where furniture is set out to make the most of the position, offering open views overlooking the beach, so you can sit and watch the shoreline without needing to go anywhere, whether it is with a morning drink or as the light begins to fade.

A shop is just a short stroll away, while the pub and beach can be reached with an easy walk, making it simple to enjoy the essentials of a seaside stay without travelling far.

Weymouth offers a classic day by the coast, where you can relax on the sandy beach, explore Nothe Fort with its harbour views, and wander around the busy harbour watching boats come and go.

Dorchester sits within easy reach and invites you to explore the Dorset Museum, wander through Borough Gardens, and visit the Roman Town House for a glimpse into the past.

Along the coast, Lulworth Cove provides striking scenery, where you can walk around the curved bay, take in views from the surrounding cliffs, and continue on to Durdle Door to see the well-known limestone arch.

Overall the property was good except for the plumbing.

all the taps in the bathroom dripped unless you turned them off very hard then they were hard to turn on . the tap in the kitchen also leaked . The toilet in the wash room does not flush properly . The showerhead was filthy so we were afraid to use it .The windows at the front of the property were also very dirty. Not up to your usual standard.

The bathroom taps are due to be replaced, and we will also arrange for the toilet in the washroom to be inspected and repaired as necessary. The property is professionally cleaned before every guest arrival by the Dream Cottages cleaning team, and this has never been raised as an issue previously. Nevertheless, we take your comments seriously and have raised the matter with the cleaning team so that they can investigate what happened and ensure standards are maintained. We're also sorry to hear that the front windows were not as clean as expected. We understand that this was below the standard you have come to expect, and we will raise this as part of our follow-up with the cleaning team. Thank you again for your feedback. The best of Bella Rosa is the backway views from the windows and patio.

The patio furniture was very scruffy and old,no parasol to shade the sun,just a hole in the table where one should be. Flooring throughout needs renewing.Bathroom taps wont turn off properly had to use a towel to get a good grip to turn off. Found a brand new iron but theres no board,was told one would be delivered but it never turned up.Bedding and towels where great and so was the washer. We had the washer on then put the toaster on and the fuse tripped,everything went off.Fuse board is behind the fridge freezer,not ideal having to pull it out and back in. We had a good week but with money spent on it,it could be so much better.

The house was clean and the location was fantastic.

Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our time there. However, the property does need quite a bit of maintenance. The upstairs bathroom taps were rusty and difficult to turn off after washing our hands. As I have bone issues, this was particularly difficult and uncomfortable for me. There was also a large brown stain on the sofa, and the shower had very high water pressure with no speed control, which made it quite painful on the skin. The garden table and chairs were dirty when we arrived, so I had to clean them before we could sit outside. I also feel that the property would benefit from a new carpet and a new kitchen floor. One of the biggest disappointments was that there was no iron available in the house, which I would expect to be a basic amenity in a holiday home. Despite these issues, the location was excellent, the house was clean, and overall we had a good stay. With some maintenance and a few improvements, this could be a really lovely holiday home.
