  • "Nice studio flat with fantastic views ,parking space a bonus, only a couple of moans front door seems to stick hard to pull open , no where to hang cloths a rail in the space by the bed (where the cloths airer and the small radiator is ) would be ideal ."

Hot water is very hot . But would book again without hesitation

  • "Great position in West Bay."

Main improvement would be get rid of the old bed and get a normal king size bed. Really good value for money.

  • "It was lovely to be back at flat 30 , nice to see that some improvements have been done, ( flooring, mattress, and sofa and the Tv ) we still struggle with closing the curtains the rings have become unattached, and having to walk up all the stairs to get the lift key , so we can take luggage up to the flat;,could you not have a key box next to the lift on ground floor, then it could be put straight back in until you got your keys for the flat ."

We would love to return again because the flat is in a lovely location and great views across the sea, Michael Jennifer and Coco x

  • "The property is in the perfect location, with uninterrupted sea views."

It has all you need for your stay. All information from the owner was bang on, from parking to getting the keys. The lift is an added bonus. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure for taps and shower was very good. My only quibbles are the TV and its lack of reception, though plenty of dvds are available. And a few things looked a bit tired. Overall, I loved my stay, and will definitely be booking it again.

  • "We love the property 3 rd time visited, last time we complained about the tv ..."

We love the property 3 rd time visited, last time we complained about the tv impossible to watch the picture keeps breaking up and crackling ,the kettle is dangerous leaks water all over the base where the electric is , and toilet flush is hit and miss , also the key for the lift has never been on the notice board at the bottom of stairs, have had to walk 3 flights of stairs to get it out of the key box outside the flat, plus the flat could do with a little TLC ,after these negative things, we will still return at another time, Michael, Jennifer and Coco the dog

WEST BAY

Bridport 1.5 miles; Lyme Regis 11 miles.

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway to the Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coast Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, crabbing, boating and golf. Visit the homes of Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, the Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval Air Museum at Yeovil. Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family! Just a short drive West takes you to Charmouth for fossil hunting, to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, and to River Cottage HQ near Axminster. To the East are the lovely Sub-tropical Gardens and Swannery at Abbotsbury, and the golden sands of Weymouth. This wonderful location makes an ideal base for a great family holiday.
