  • "Very helpful hosts & easy to contact."

The welcome gifts were much appreciated. Situated in an ideal location - this first floor flat is opposite the sea front beside West Beach Cafe, an approx 200 yard walk to the harbour with its pubs, stalls, shops & bars. The property's highlight was the enclosed balcony area with sliding patio doors, great for sea views & sunsets. The flat was clean with large rooms & storage, a well equipped kitchen & an excellent spacious shower enclosure. Easy parking with grassed areas on site & cliff walks, all good for the dog too. There's an abundance of places to eat: The West Bay Hotel, The George & Anchor Inn are good venues. The Rise surrounded by water & The Platform old train carriage restaurants were our favourites. Further afield, The Hive cafe at Hive beach is lovely for beach views. Jurassic Boats scenic tours Lyme Regis & The Seaton Tramway not too far away - both enjoyable days out. Felicity's Farm Shop a few miles away with outside cafe seating overlooking rolling hills is worth a visit too. Regarding access - the low lounge seating & low main bed not suitable for all.

  • "Very helpful hosts, easy to contact and grateful for their quick response."

Lovely touches with the welcome gifts. Scones, biscuits and doggy stuff - much appreciated. deal spot for our weeks stay, well equipped with everything needed and very clean. We so enjoyed sitting on the balcony, the sea view and sunrises. The location, easy access to the harbour and lovely long walks, not forgetting the cold water swimming on the doorstep. Enjoyed west bay's eateries - the rise inn harbour never disappoints neither does the heritage old train carriage restaurant, both lovely places to eat. Enjoyed the scenic boat tour from lyme regis with Jurassic boat tours as well as a trip to seatons vintage tramway too.

  • "A beautiful spot for our biennial west Dorset trip."

Tea on the balcony was a highlight. Lovely to be able to walk to all our needs. We went to Thorncombe Beacon into Bridport and a stroll around the harbour. Would recommend the Rubicon (Amazing chips and 100% gluten free!) Already looking forward to summer 2028 to get back to the sea. With thanks
